The hotel has excellent guest facilities, including a recently renovated restaurant which offers a wide range of good food from Holland and organises live cooking buffets on weekends. There is a second restaurant and 2 bars. Coffee is served in the lobby. Those who like to add a little sporting activity to their stay will be delighted to find the completely renovated fitness room and the indoor swimming pool, and for sports teams there is even a great sports field available. Disabled parking is also available.
In the surroundings of Hotel Akersloot there are many tourist attractions, such as the city of Alkmaar (at 9 km/5.59 miles), which is famous for its Beatles Museum and traditional Alkmaar cheese market, and the city of Castricum (at 10 km/6.21 miles). Hotel guests will find several beaches and lakes nearby (such as the lake of Alkmaar-Uitgeest and Zwaansmeer lake) which are used for water recreation such as windsurfing and swimming.
