Hotel full of character. Really enjoyed the stay here. Good staff. The carpark suggested is a bit of a walk from the hotel. Apart from that, the hotel is reall lovely.

Great hotel - the photographs don't do it justice. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel is in an excellent location - very central and just off the Cours Mirabeau. We had a superior room which was fine but I don't know how large the standard rooms are. As with most hotels these days, breakfast is a bit pricey but that seems to be the norm. Aix is a beautiful little town and this hotel is a great base from which to explore it. Next time we go, we would definitely stay here again.

The selling point of Des Augustins is that the second you step out of the hotel, you are in the main center of the town, which is very convenient. Nevertheless, inside the room (mine was facing away from the street) was extremely quiet. Breakfast at the hotel is expensive, but there is a small cafe where a croissant and a coffee could be had for less than 4 euros.

Beautiful converted convent with stained glass windows and old world charm. The hotel is within feet of the Cours Mirabeau and close to everything! Bank across the Cours, pharmacy just across the street, restaurants throughout the town. Paul, the BEST bakery ever, around the corner. Don't miss the Sat morning market and wonderful shopping throughout the town all week long! We were there 4 nights of a 2 1/2 week vacation and loved it!!

We were informed that we got comfort rooms but I think we got the last two standard rooms that were opposite the reception area. That is why it was sometimes noisy.

situato in pieno centro si presenta come molto singolare per essere un convento trasformato in hotel. la reception è di fatto la ex cappella della chiesa le stanze sono belle con un tocco romantico provenzale. sorprendente la zona bagno su due stanze una per il vater e l'altra per vasca e lavandini(2). il tutto è piaciuto molto. sono stati anche gentili e professionali. l'unico appunto l'ascensore emetteva degli inquietanti rumori e qualche scossone nel suo funzionamento.

Very courteous staff and nice rooms, although bath was dated and should be freshened up a bit. I would definitely stay there again as the location was excellent.

Les Augustins Hotel was the right choice for me, as I was traveling alone. The location was perfect ~ a short ten-minute walk from the train station & conveniently situated at the corner of Cours Maribou and the edge of the old town. Also, it's a 5-min. walk to the Tourist Office by the big fountain. The hotel staff was very friendly. The only negative thing was when I turned in for the night, I informed the front desk person that I was expecting a telephone call from my husband that night. The receptionist said he would watch out for the call; however, when my husband called an hour later, the receptionist couldn't speak English and didn't understand my husband's request; he also said that I wasn't in my room! My room key was not in the front desk, so that meant I WAS IN my room! Weird... Other than that, everything was fine.

A lovely boutique hotel in what was once a convent in a great location just off the main street. Beautifully restored with very comfortable quiet rooms. Staff could not have been more helpful and gave great advice on resturants and how to get around the city of Aix en Provence and surrounding areas.

Localización del Hotel es buena.Habitación limpia.Decoración poco adecuada para un edificio que se presenta como un antiguo convento.Habitación poco espaciosa para su precio. No dispone de parking cercano y es muy difícil aparcar para bajar o subir equipaje.

The hotel is situated in an absolutely ideal location for visiting Aix en Provence, with many excellent shops & restaurants just around the corner.  Because it is on a very narrow side road off the Cours Mirabeau, it is at the centre of things without the noise. Enjoyable breakfast!

The hotel is so charming. Lovely room. The location could not have been better---near stores and restaurants. No need to use your car.

Very central location in the old town. Only slight drawback is the narrow stret and noise when windows open but well double glazed.
