I would have rated a perfect 10...but the breakfast is over priced and not worth it and we tried to cancel but they were going to charge us so we felt forced into it. If you stay here tell them ahead of time you do not want breakfast! There are lovely bakeries in St Remy just down the road. The pool and the surroundings are really beautiful

I LOVED Aquabella. It was so beautiful and the pool and spa were comfortable. I don't usually spend time at the pool of a hotel, but didn't want to leave this one. The room was so comfortable too, and the location was perfect!! I can't wait to go back someday.

More like an American-type hotel, and somewhat impersonal. Breakfast very expensive, dinner mediocre and pricy.

For the prices quoted, we expected clean, up-to-date, modern rooms which we did not get. The carpets and chairs were badly stained, the tables marked and grouting in the bathroom was black. Rooms are generally in need of refurbishment. The public areas are very nice. Prices for drinks, food ect are expensive (as is all of Aix!)

The breakfast buffet did not offer a great deal of choice. Otherwise, we were very content.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool was very nice and the area around the pool was beautiful. This is definitely better than your average 3 star hotel.

On arrival we were informed the prices quoted for meal ie breakfast are not correct "not correct" you will have to pay more if you require breakfast VENERE.COM quoted you wrong prices nothing further to discuss as far as the receptionist was concerned !!take it or leave it attitude I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE CUSTOMER WAS RIGHT but not at the Aquabella when you check in (I ONLY HIGHLIGHT THIS BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DO BUDGET ACCORDING TO THE PRICE QUOTED) The good new was the room price was right other wise we would have walked out and found another hotel who wecome the guests Staff in the restaurant were very nice and welcoming

We had a good dinner at the hotel, but as the restaurant was closing the service people were in a hurry, what we felt impolite.

Sehr gutes Ambiente.

This is an okay hotel except - it is NOT suitable for anyone in a WHEELCHAIR. The bar and indoor restaurant are inaccessible, the rooms are small and the bathrooms ridiculously small with no aids.

Our car battery died and the hotel clerk was so helpful! After we got some cables he jumped our car for us! Above and beyond the call of duty. It was so nice. We ate at a great restaurant near the Hotel de Ville (just go to the tall church behind the Aquabella and continue down) called the Divan d'Antioche. Great food. At lunch, order the menu express mixte. Wonderful!

It's an OK hotel in the bad meaning of the term. Looking at the web the hotel pictures give you the sense of some atmosphere, but when arriving you'll find out that you came to just another standard hotel. The price is also way too expansive for this type/quality of hotel. When eating breakfast your total spending will amount to approx 150EUR which is way over... As an experienced traveler I can recommend you to look for better alternatives.

The rooms were spacious. Cleaniness was average. Bathrooms were poor - shower leaked. The separate toilet area had an underlying bad odor. The noise level from street noise was horrible making it difficult to sleep most nights (we stayed 7 nights). The noise was probably the worst part of our stay.

Hotel is modern, which must be exceptional for the "old town" of Aix.Our room was on the top floor overlooking the town roof tops with low hills in the distance. We could walk to the first of the many squares in a few minutes. After sightseeing we enjoyed resting on the seats overlooking the pool. There we experienced some traffic noise.

I have been recommending Aquabella to EVERYONE since we got back. The rooms were lovely, the food is excellent and the facilities are fabulous. The hotel is in a nice location, only a minute or two's walk away from the cafe's & pattiseries. Aix-en-Provence is a delightful town. The restaurants are wonderful and the place has a real charm. Fair to say, I loved our holiday!

Location is near the old town, but not directly in it. it's near the cathedral and the city hall (the latter has a big square with many restaurants), but it's 10-15 mins on foot away from cours mirabeau where is the main strip so to speak. rooms are nice, staff are nice. you need to park in a small paid garage if you bring your car, but you won't need it in aix itself (just if you want to visit the towns around). we didn't take the time to take advantage of the health & spa facilities, but they look nice.

First time in Aix. The hotel has excellent location, very close to all major monuments and actractions. Large swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Hammam available (but I did not use, unfortunately). All The only price difference was on breakfast, quoted 13 € and payed 15 € (but the value is OK: wonderfull and various). Staying at this hotel you'll save money for parking (very close) and meal. Of course, I'll stay again in this Hotel if another journey in Aix.

A mature couple travelling in the out-season had an excellent stay and would strongly recommend this hotel. Excellent clean big room with a view over the old town. An easy walk into the center of the old town for shops and restaurants.

The hotel is well located but not that obvious to access by car. Parking is not without its problems. Having said that it is an excellent hotel, with good facilities and also pleasing decor. It is very comfortable. Would certainly recommend it.

A pleasant though anonymous hotel. Unsmiling reception staff at all times, minimum helpful.Bedroom carpets had small stains and bedroom corridor had serious stains along its length. We commentaed to the hotel and received an innocuous reply.Good spa facilities.
