The absence of signage to indicate reception or any other facility, which one would normally expect to find in an hotel,was an initial distraction which led us on a short but frustrating goose chase around the chateau. However, once we located the proprietors and were shown to our extremely spacious and tastefully decorated room our fears were quickly allayed. We were delighted with the quality and very high standard of food and wines. All meals have to be ordered in advance and are taken on the terrace. There is no menu: you eat what the proprietor and chef prepares. But we were never ever disappointed. This is a hidden gem, which, like a good wine, is certain to mature and improve in the years ahead. We definitely intend to return and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

From the A9 motorway, take the 'Nimes' exit n°26, then proceed on the RD 979 road until the 6th roundabout. Follow the Aimargues direction.
