About Hotel Villa Mazarin

exterior Hotel Villa Mazarin exterior The Villa Mazarin hotel is located in the heart of the fortified French city of Aigues-Mortes, 5 minutes from the beautiful beaches in the Camargue region. The property was built at the end of the XVth century and has been fully renovated combining the traditional Provencal style with more contemporary elements.

The property offers a large heated swimming pool overlooking the garden, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, massage room and fitness area. A garden and a solarium terrace are available as well as a beautiful lounge on the ground floor and an Internet Point at the reception.

Please note that Hotel Villa Mazarin does not offer accommodation to children under 6 years old.

From the outside you would never guess the hotel is as large and beautiful as it is. The room we had on the ground floor was perfect in every way and the bathroom was enormous and very well-appointd. The large underground car park is a God-send bearing in mind the parking situation in Aigues Mortes. The restaurant that was recommended was a short walk away and was excellent. The staff were charming and helpful. A new hotel to us that we have already planned to go back to...walking in was a real WOW factor!

There were some problems caused by rain that were outside the hotels control. Unfortunately the hotel did not handle the problems as well as they could have from my customer point of view. The fan in the bathroom was either not working or inadequate, but the hotel did not seem to accept that this was a problem.
