Hôtel des Croisades - Aigues-Mortes

An excellently situated hotel, very close to the walled city. The staff are welcolming and helpful. The breakfasts taken in the garden were tremendous value for money. This hotel is suberb for a short stay in a very interesting part of France.

Bien acceuillis, chambre confortable par contre salle de bains trop petite.

There was a strong smell of urine in the room. The carpet was old and sticky. I would not recommend staying in this hotel.

VERY KIND, SMILING AND WORKING PEOPLE IN THIS HOTEL. IT S LOCATED IN FRONT OF RIVER-BOATS AND THE HISTORIC CITY. AND ITS POSSIBLE TO LET THE CAR, THERE IS A BOAT SHUTTLE TO THE SEA (DIRECT GRAU DU ROI) AND THE TRAIN IS ALSO VERY CLOSE. 4 DAYS WITH A LOT OF THINGS TO DO. GREAT RECOMMENDATION.

The location was opposite the main tower of the walled city and adjacent to the cruise boats.

Nice view over the canal to the Tour Constance and the town walls - but the quieter rooms are on the other side, Owner (woman) speeks fluently German and is very friendly, reacts quickly to your wishes concerning e.g. breakfast etc., max. 5 min walk to the town and its many wonderful restaurants.

Small hotel that offers service of good large hotel and, in the meantime, provides feeling of warm home atmosphere. Hotel staff is excellent, competent and super welcoming. Rooms are very nice, clean and calm. Hotel surroundings are really the best one can get.

This Hotel is very convenient to the town where there are lots of shops and a great selection of restaurants to choose from.

In the morning you have the must beautiful view you can get on the remparts of aigues mortes, with the sun just behind the tour de constance . The owners are excellent people, they helped us a lot.

We stayed two nights. Friendly staff, warm welcome. Nice view from the window or our room. Good car parking possibilities.

I really felt at home at the Hotel Croisades, and I was sad to leave. In spite of my attempts to murder their language, the staff were all friendly helpful and accommodating. The rooms were not spacious but it did not matter, because the space was used efficiently, and the building is a charming old one. We particularly liked that they allowed us to use the terrace for eating during the afternoons, and we could come back to our room at any time during the day. A little gem.

The hotel is not far from the railway station (I travelled by train) and very close to the historic citadel of Aigues Mortes, beautiful site. We had a room with the view over the canal and the main tower of the ancient wall, very appreciated. The hotel has not restaurant, but you can use a very nice garden to stay and have a meal at noon, before locating a boat or a bike at the canal nearby.

This is a bijou hotel. The new owners have worked hard to make it a most pleasant place to stay. The decor is delightful. Our room was a little small, but this was the only fault. Location-wise, it was perfect - right opposite the Tour de Constance, and overlloking a canal.
