Our first visit to both Agrigento and the Hotel Villa Eos. Unfortunately the hotel was closing down for the Winter, so the swimming pool was emptied. Although the rooms are o.k., not spacious, the shower/wc area is small. Staff were excellent, and very helpfull. We will be returning in the future.

We stayed in 6 different places in Sicily during our stay. The Eos was the most expensive of them all, and the least pleasant one. There is no elevator (difficult with luggage), the mattress was very bad, the room very small. When we commented on the shape of the matterss the next morning (hoping it would be fixed for the next guests), the receptionist replied: "Why didn't you tell me last night?" I think he should have appologized for our inconvenience before telling us what we should have done... I do want to mention that the receptionist in the evening was especially nice.

We loved this hotel. The location was great for exploring the southern coast. Best of all the staff was amazing and they had an amazing pool. They were always available to help and generally pleasant. Yes, you do need a car if you are staying here, but in general I would recommend having a car for any extened stay in Sicily. Hotel Villa Eos is defintely a hidden gem. We will stay there again when we are next in the south of Sicily.

The hotel is located near the valley of temples in Agrigento (15 minutes by car) and near a nice beach (San Leone),also 15 minutes away. The staff at the hotel is nice and multilingual. The breakfast is ok and you may sit on the veranda or inside. The hotel offers also the possibility to eat dinner (food quality quite good). The only thing the hotel should improve is the descrition how to reach it. It took us 1 hour!

hotel indecoroso. Hotel a 1 stella massimo. Prezzo sproporzionato, camere piccole e doccia piccolissima.

I am going to be objetive because I read opinions on this hotel and my decision was taken because other opinions were good. I do not recomend this hotel at all. the room was small, bad furnitured, no place for putting the cases. the floor of the room was very dirty. the bathroom was very old, the sanitaries did not work well, small, impossible to have a bath, and again, dirty. The breakfast was very poor. The swmming pool was dirty, the same as the garden and the place to be if you want to take a bath, the chairs were broken, dirty, old, some of the ammended with wood to substitute the parts of plastic broken, of course not confortable to be there. the location is not good, you need the car for all and it is difficult to find the place. It is very expensive, the relationship between quality/price is very low.

After using Venere extensively for reservations throughout Italy and being very happy with the results, this is the first hotel I would NOT recommend! Here's why: The listing for this property indicates Wireless Internet for guests; a service that was important for myself and my travelling companion and it was one of the reasons we selected this property. We asked the gentleman who checked us in (owner?) and who spoke very little English about this. He assured us, "no problem, no problem with internet connection". After settling in our room, we could not find a wireless connection. I went to the reception and was now told by him we needed to plug into the telephone line. I knew this was wrong and suspected there was no internet service available, but it was too late in the day to find another hotel in the area. The next day, this man's daughter, who spoke very good English, told us the hotel had not had wireless internet service "since last year." For convenience sake, we decided to stay one more day and do without internet service. Our stay was in February and the weather was cold at night. When we returned the second night, the heat was off in our room. A trip to the reception and a request to the same genetleman for the heat to be turned on in our room was met with this response: "in about 15 minutes.". Thirty minutes later, no heat. My companion who speaks good Italian went to the reception and asked about the heat. She was told: "soon". She insisted "now for the heat", and the man went to a switch panel behind a door at the reception and turned on the heat in our room. This is NOT how guests should be treated in a hotel! Finally at checkout, our bill had an extra charge for two coffees. We asked why and were told by the young woman (daughter) that these were served to us at breakfast. This hotel has a buffet breakfast, including coffee. We have stayed at dozens of hotels in Italy and Europe and have NEVER been charged for a second cup of coffee at a buffet brea

The room offered basic needs but no more. The hotel has no restaurant but the adviced restaurant was excellent for good price. Staff was very friendly and multi-lingual, even Dutch. For the smokers !!! This is a non-smoking hotel (not mentionned on the website), but you can become an ashtray to get a smoke on the balconny.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days, our room and ensuite were nice. The hotel is nice however does not have a elevator, the grounds are very pleasant. The problem with this hotel is, it is miles away from anywhere and there is no where to eat within a 20 euro taxi fare ( each way). If you wish to stay around the hotel there is nowhere to eat or buy lunch or dinner. My recommendation is, do not stay here without a car!!! Otherwise it is a nice place.

The hotel has a large garden, sweeming pool and a large parking space. Situated in an agro/resort area with a sea view and not far from the sea and the Vale de Templi. The owner is an artist and his and other items are spread allover.Very pleasant areas for dining or relaxing. Rooms are very nice with terraces and a sea view

Difficult to find but in a good location relative to sites. No restaurants in the vicinity. However, we really did enjoy the stay!

This Hotel is all about appearance, unfortunately it is noisy, cold and the plumbing was producing brown dirty water. The rooms were not soundproof. We got transferred to an inferior smaller room. The breakfast was held in a spacious and well appointed eating area; however the heat had not been turned on. It was an unpleasant experience and we cut our stay to just one night. Finding the place off a busy autostrada was not easy and the hotel is a goodly distance by car from restaurants. I do not recommend this Hotel.

Lovely, lovely, lovely!! small hotel arranged in a quiet villa with swimming pool, garden, solarium, veranda and an astonishing view from some of the rooms with balcony (n.304 to remember) from the temple valley till P.to Empedocle. Free parking, nice staff and extreme quietness (probably also due to the period-beginning of March). Already planning to go back for a longer stay!

We found the Villa Eos to be a most satisfactory accomodation. It exceeded our expectations. In addition to being a well-kept and friendly facility, its location was in a quiet area yet close to the important places to visit. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Villa Eos was one of the highlights of our two week tour of Sicily. We recommend it highly.

It is no easy to find the location of the hotel. It must be said that is close to Porto Empedocle. The hotel is very nice, with an interior artistic and relaxing decoration. The hotel staff is friendly and attentive. It is recommendable to have a car to go to Agrigento and surrondings. The nearest beach (next to the harbour area of Porto Empoedocle) is about 2-3 km. As small problem, the music from the nearest hotel can be heared in the bedroom at night (up to around 24:00).
