Room was small. It was not in town as stated on web page, but at the bottom of the hill in another village. Next door to McDonalds, thus noise and smells. Desk clerk spoke no english and provided no service. Were unable to book a guide or tour for us.

The Kore Hotel was lovely. The big problem for me was that on the website they claimed to be in the "heart of Agrigento" and "a few steps away" from the Valle dei templi. If I had known the truth about the location, I would never have booked there. It was 20 minutes away by bus from the railway station, 10 minutes by bus from the Valle dei templi. The location of the hotel was on a rather ugly industrial strip next to a McDonalds.

If I'd known this hotel was on a big, ugly main road out of Agrigento I would not have booked it. The hotel itself is big, clean and modern but it is a little clinical. It caters for the bus loads of retired tourists. However I couldn't fault the room itself as it was spotless and the bathroom was lovely but the location was horrible. I didn't think the value for money was particularly good either - at 110 euro per night we found much lovelier places elswhere in Sicily for a lot less.

Cool, funky design in a modern hotel. Easy access location on main road as approaching the Valley of Temples; however, I don't think it would be convenient if you didn't have a car. For us, the location was great and the hotel superb. Good breakfast included, with fruits, meats, cheeses, various breads and cereals, juice and coffee or tea selections. Overall, excellent stay.
