Hotel Baia di Ulisse Wellness & SPA - Agrigento

I rang before booking to check that a bus was available for us from the station. Yes they said but forgot to tell us that at the end there is a very steep 300 metre walk to the resort with bags from the local bus stop. When we finally arrived at the resort, out of breath & very hot, there was no air conditioning or seats or an offer of a cool glass of water! At 3pm our rooms weren't ready for another 30 minutes....and we were sent to the pool to buy a drink and a snack. The food was out of the fridge and consisted of a longlife panini which they managed to heat and it was inedible. For dinner that evening we went to book and they advised us that the restaurant was closed for a private function and we had to go somewhere else...not easy without a car!! The staff at the desk had very poor English and gave us lots of incorrect information and even ordered a taxi for us without a meter and the driver wanted 200 Euro to take us to the temples. An absolute disaster..really think before staying here at these very exaggerated prices.

GianPaolo was extremely helpful in every regard. We loved our short stay and found the ground of the hotel to be beautiful.

Good location. Comfortable bathroom and bed. Safe deposit box in your room. Nice breakfast and dinning areas. Very good food. Parking available.

Really lovely hotel, facilities, location, pool, sea, gardens, views, and friendly staff, just disappointed there was not enough staff (at pool bar, at lounge bar and in restaurant) to back up everything else that was so great about it. I would have awarded full marks if we had not had to scratch our heads wondering when someone would appear to serve in public areas. The (student) animators / entertainers were great fun but not contracted to serve at bars or restaurant where help was needed.

ok,. this place is just great I am from the beach but this place got everything I know is far from rome and florence I realy enjoy it very much for you venere I give you a perfect 10 love it thank you venere jorge peralta

Hotel davvero elegante e ben attrezzato (piscina, spiaggia privata). Peccato che i dintorni non siano granchè, mi riferisco in particolare a San Leone che è davvero brutta. Unica pecca del servizio, per il resto più che buono anche se standard, il bagno piccolo e relativamente "misero".
