It is a charming country house, the service and welcoming are perfect. The garden is nice but there is no swimming pool. It is very close to the Temples, difficult to locate even with a GPS.

The hotel is situated in the country just outside Agrigento. A car is a must have to see the Valle dei Templari and the city. The location marker on the map is on the opposite side of SR116 from the hotel. Fortunately the satelite view shows the name of the hotel in its actual location. Our room had a shower that was broken and sprayed water all over the bathroom. Also, the shower water never got hot. the twin beds were very narrow and the matress on one was very lumpy. The hotel showed signs of poor maintenance, possibly due to us being there off season. Breakfast was good.

We had a very nice time. We reccomand a romantic dinner in the garden with a beatiful view on the "Valle dei Templi". A drink in the Jacuzzi is wath you need after a long day un the beach.

Old charming hotel with beautiful garden and views. The food is wonderful, and even fair priced! The rooms are quite dark. To get there / go places you need a car. The beach (long and sandy, and very empty, except for a few locals, when we were there in Mid June) can be reached by foot, and from there you can walk to San Leone. To get to the hotel we took a bus from Trapani / Birgi Airport to Agrigento, and taxi from there.

A beautiful hotel, very well run, with an excellent restaurant and lovely location. Georgeous gardens. Our only criticism: It was not easy to find from the map, and does not have many signs on the road. Butonce we found it we had a wonderful stay.

I have mixed feelings about Baglio della Luna. First the positives; The location is spectacular. We could look up from our bed to see the beautiful Valley of the Temples. There is beach access nearby, which is not mentioned in the literature. Most of the staff spoke good english. For the negatives- the hotel was without air conditioning for several days. Our room never had working airconditioning. We were fortunate to have a large french door for air, but the other rooms did not. Having the doors open allowed fleas into the room, which found me to be quite delicious! We had planned to dine at the famous Il Dehors restaurant on the property, but after dining at the sister restaurant at Dominus Aurea, where we had the worst meal of our trip, we decided to cancel our reservation. Had the air conditioning functioned, our experience would have been completely different. We asked for an discount on our almost 1000 euro bill, considereing we did not have the product we had payed for. We were only offered a $20 discount, which I did not find satisfactory. The staff appears to work 24-hour shifts and they are not as pleasant at the end of their shift.

A great loction with views of the Agrigento ruins from the room. Guest facilities excellent, such as the courtyard and gardens to wacth the sunset from. The restaurant was excellent, with great service and a spectacular view. While the hotel is way out of town, we had no reason to leave for our brief stay.

Very helpful staff. Location excellent. Rooms tired, need paint and updating. Patio, and view to the temples from there, excellent.

This is a beautiful hotel - awkwardly located but with lovely views to the Valley of Temples and the sea. Rooms are a bit small, ours had a modest balcony, but the beds are nice and rooms tastefully decorated. Breakfast is good, dinners quite pricey, probably over-rated, but with the views one can forgive a lot. Staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The hotel is expensive for what it offers - the lack of a swimming pool would be a major complaint - but just about justifies the prices with its lovely courtyard and dining area.

The grounds and location are particularly appealing. The room was small and dark and the bathroom had no hooks or towel bars. The dining room was very good.

lovely setting and building in the middle of nowhere, 3km from Agrigento. Attractive restaurant - shame about the quality of the food which was really very poor and overly expensive

Dinner of the restaurant was excellent. Staff was kind. The location of the hotel was a little far from the "valle dei templi" but very romantic. We could enjoy the fragrance of various flowers in the garden . I felt that I was in an Oasis. (Although, the room charge is too expencive compared with other sicilian hotels, isn't it?)

Despite the wonderful location and the spectacular view from the room, I would have expected a better maintenance from a hotel in that category compared to the price paid. The bathroom was old and needed a complete renewal, lavatories and shower were deteriored. There was no satellite TV and the TV set was very old with poor quality of images. There were no facilities as a 4 stars hotel standard should require.

Hotel Baglio della Luna was very nice in every respect. The location, the rooms and the service. Even your directions were good since we found the place on our first attempt, which was not always the case for us, driving around Sicily. Did you know that their restaurant is one of the very best on the island? Our two evening meals there were absolutely superb!

The hotel was beautiful, gorgeous gardens, the food extraordinary. The rooms are a bit small, but clean and pretty. My only complaint was that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING (it supposedly broke that weekend). Some fans were provided (but we didn't get one). Other than that - it was wonderful.
