The owner/manager greeted my by name as I approached the hotel. Pepy was very helpful and sweet as she showed us the apartment. The view was superb. The atmosphere was so quaint. I loved the old-fashioned tiered Greek building with the grape vines! One caution, I would recommend that you have your own vehicle to stay here. The access road is easy to get to but a little intimidating, very high and definitely away from the city. I intend to go back with my husband next time! Loved the entire stay. The location was so centralized for our travelling needs and the view was breathtaking.

Our stay at Nymphes was great, there were three of us - me, my wife, and our friend from the states. Our 4 pax apartment was pretty good, it consisted of a living room area with two single beds, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen bed, plus a balcony. The woman who runs the hotel is very nice and greeted us in person when we pulled up, then showed us to our apartment which had fruit and a bottle of wine waiting. She was available during our stay (three days) for anything we needed and helped point us towards local attractions. As far as negatives go, the hotel was kind of cold because it was all tile with no rugs. There was no internet, which for an American can cause heart attack :P She allowed us to come and use her computer in her office when she was there, which was useful, but still kind of incovenient. The drive to the hotel is terrifying! We rented a small car and were shocked to find the path to the hotel involved a nearly vertical drive up a tiny gravel road that would NOT facilitate two cars passing each other. I drive in Germany where the roads can get narrow but I was still blown away by this road...I wouldn't come back based soley on that drive. Also, the woman who runs the place asked us to leave our names, addresses, and passport numbers when we left. Its probably just standard procedure, but it creeped us out a bit, and we chose not to do it. The area can also be rough around the time we were there. We were there during the first week of April and found that it was cold, rainy, and the beach area looked like it had just woke up with a hangover. There was trash littered all along the beach, almost all the stores and resturaunts were closed, and nobody was there. Again, the hotel was nice and the lady who ran it was sweet, but I wouldn't recommend going there until the summer, and rent a small Jeep or something with 4 wheel drive if you're going to go.

Loved the place. We were originaly booked for three nights but we liked the place so much we extended our stay. Nymphes is perched near the top of a decent size hill. The drive up is interesting and the views from the apartment were just amazing. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. Pepy, the owner, was very obliging and always happy to give advice on places to go and things to see & do. Mostly though we were happy to just stay there & soak up the sun & the view.

The only negative thing was the road to the hotel very steep and narrow The hotel is isolated far from facilities(restaurants and stores)

Ottima struttura, panorama mozzafiato. Grande cordialità e disponibilità del personale. Accesso al residence diifficoltoso: 1 Km di strada in salita, non asfaltata e stretta.

The owner/manager Pepi was so kind and welcoming. She told us to "be close to mother earth." We felt the stress flow out of us and relaxation take control. Highly recommend this place for peace and quiet. Should rent a car though as it is high on the mountain. Very beautiful view. Thanks Pepi!

All was perfect , and the prices also.I only found the breaksfast a little too expensive(15€ per person) and without natural orange juice, but was served on the terrace, with a wonderfull view. I was in April and the swimmingpool was empty,and was quite hot.

Nice apartment hotel in a quiet location with magnificent views over the Cretan northern coast. Off-season there may be chilly winds on the hillside, and only few restaurants in the near-by village will be open. Many stairs to climb.

My sister and I spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel in October. The owner,Pepi, was absolutely delightful.She gave us good suggestions of what to see as well as a map and guidebook of Crete. The hotel itself is charming. It is situated way up on a hill overlooking the town of Agia Pelagia and the Sea of Crete. The rooms have lovely balconies and the view is incredible (be sure to see the sunrise).The rooms are simply furnished but lovely and comfortable. Overall, I would say that this was the best value of anywhere that I stayed in Greece. I highly recommend.

We have just returned from our holidays to Crete.As we wanted to explore this beautiful island we decided to stay in few different properties and what can we say - 2 nights stay at Nymphes Luxury Apartments was a highlight of our trip. As it is located very close to the airport (around 30min drive)- this was our first stop in our trip. We arrived late enough but were warmly greated by Peppy (the owner), she showed us our studio and made us feel very welcomed. We stayed in the studio which I believe is a little bit smaller comparing to apartments but it had everything we could ve possibly ask for. A very good size bathroom, bathrobes and slipers, fruit basket,chilled bottle of wine and still water - all was waiting for us, but the best part was a huge balcony with table and chairs and amazing views. As Nymphes Luxury Apartments are located on the top of the hill you get the spectacular views, relaxing atmosphere and you are still only 5 minutes drive from buzzing Agia Pelagia, with lots restaurans and shops, and nice beach:)We have used the pool as well, but the water was just a little bit on the cold side, but hey- its October, not July:)Over all we had a fantastic stay there and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holidays. Peppy made this place feel like your second home.

Miniappartamento molto ben attrezzato (asciugamani per bagno e piscina, ciabatte per il bagno, attrezzatura di cucina con detersivo e strofinaccio per i piatti), situato in zona tranquilla e isolata, in mezzo agli ulivi, raggiungibile con un tratto di strada non asfaltata ma in discreto stato. Personale molto gentile, vista stupenda sul mare, bella piscina. Veramente consigliabile per chi ha intenzione di spostarsi poi nei dintorni con la macchina.
