The Santa Marina Plaza Hotel is situated in Agia Marina, a lovely sea resort on the northern coast of the island of Crete, west of the city of Hania. Located next to the long and sandy beach, the exclusive hotel is the ideal setting to relax and enjoy the clear Cretan Sea, practice many water sports or visit the major sightseeing attractions of the island.

Many congratulations to the Santa Marina Plaza. A very welcoming Hotel with excellent features throughout. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and the cleaniness of the place is awesome. My wife and myself had a great time and do recommend this beautiful place to people who look for quiet relaxing days in a very good location near Chania.We loved it.

We stayed 10 days in the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Everything was fine except some details: The safe deposit box is not free, you have to pay 2,5€/day Dining at the hotel is expensive (18€/pax) and the food is not worth it. The surroundings of the hotel is a national road so it is not very enjoyable to take walk...you need a car to escape this area. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay, the room was spacy and clean. The swimming pool was nice and there was a direct access to the beach. The room's view was nice (swimmig poll and sea)and when you are in the hotel you don't see or hear the national road. And the staff was very kind.
How to reach Hotel Santa Marina Plaza
By car
From Hania central bus station follow Kelaidi Parthenious street for about 100 metres. Turn left and follow Kydonias avenue. After about 300 metres turn left, take Kissamous street for about 7 km, until you reach Agia Marina. Head towards the beach and you will find the indications leading to the hotel.
By airplane
The Hania K. Daskalogiannis international airport is 21 km away from the property and hosts daily flights serving various locations. A frequent bus service connects the airport to Hania centre and Agia Marina: the bus stops right in front of the hotel.
On leaving the airport, you must take the main road and head towards Hania's city centre. Follow this direction for about 5 km, until you reach the access to the motorway 90 Hania-Kissamos. Enter the motorway, heading towards the city of Kissamos. After about 15 km, you will find the exit sign to Agia Marina. Exit the motorway and follow the main road to the beach, where you will find the indications leading to the hotel.
By boat
There are daily ferry and high-speed ferry services connecting the Athens port of Piraeus to the harbour of Hania. A frequent bus service connects the harbour to Hania centre and to the property. Taxis can be easily found at the end of the wharf.
