Brit Hotel Aquitaine - Le Passage, Agen

Access very easy (close to the motorway exit). Good place for a break on a long trip.

This hotel should be advertised as suitable for truckers only. The location is dreadful at the back end of a truck car pack. The reception area is disgusting with torn and stained seats. The rooms are basic cells. My wife was so upset we did not actually stay in the room overnight. Don't think the area is very safe. It should advised that it is not for holidaymakers or private individuals in transit to holiday destination.

We booked this hotel as an overnight stop-over, choosing it as we were travelling by motorcycle to the Pyrenees, therefore a hotel with a restaurant was a must, so that once we got to the hotel we wouldn't have to go out again. On arriving at the hotel we were informed by the receptionist (who was pleasant enough, but was actually the only person that we did see)that the restaurant was closed. On asking where we could eat we were directed to the 'Les Routiers' restaurant that is reached by walking through the lorry park to find that the meal was a fish buffet. We ended up by walking back to the hotel, getting back on the motorbike and finding a 'Canadian Grill' to have a meal. On returning to the Brit Hotel we fancied a drink, but the only drinks were available were spirits or coffee, so the latter had to do!! Breakfast was good though, a good selection - but a little too late.
