Hotel Terme Helvetia - Abano Terme

The room was clean, but, you cannot change the room temperature even if you have the controls in your room, you have to ask to the reception for the temperature!!! plus you can hear every single sound in the corridor, even if someone is quietly walking in the hallway. The gym in not as near as a small gym should be, he had basically a old and broken stepper, a treadmill, and a multipower station that was in bad shape, an some sort con plastic dumbells. The staff was helpful and gentle, more than patient and reliable. The breakfast was decent. Dinners in the Hotel's restaurant should be attended in suit, as they gently ask in the information booklet they give you, but they don't say anything like that in the website. For a 4 star Hotel i expected a little more, no matter how many service you can offer, room comfort, and quiet are priceless.

The location of the hotel is excellent to visit padova, Venice, ... The rooms are clean, there is a great parking and a nice Pool. On the other side, the staff hardly speaks a word English or French. The breakfast isn't really good. The fruit is from a tin, and the fresh fruit is like it was frozen solid. it's a good hotel for it's price, nothing more.
