Hostel Tamka - Warsaw

There is some change since February 2011, the first time I was staying here. Surprisingly the breakfast has improved. Shortcomings: lack of towels and a lift.

Nice rooms, big common kitchen & tasty breakfast.

Good quality of welcoming but very noisy with traffic road breakfast not well offered service

Shared shower and WC are system-in-a-room configuration; thus, it was permanently occupied. There is a disordered breakfast: it was very difficult to find food in the breakfast room.

Dirty, ugly rooms. Very noisy. After the first night we had to change room. Very poor breakfast - only bread, cheese and jam. On Sunday the bread was ended at 8.30.

The hotel is close to the old town and the Chopin museum.it is a basic hostel with basic facilities. The quality is not bad, considering the price. it is recommended to travellers with a tight budget. my room is on the 4th floor, but the shared WC is on the 2nd and 1st. You can use the hostel internet and Washer, fees included in hostel bill. good option.

Clean rooms, good relationship between price and quality, friendly employees. The hostel is close to the city centre. We stayed one night there and had no problems.

Very simple in funiture but clean. Towels not provided, bath and toilet ok. very close to city center and all major sights, also not too far from railway station, so perfect location. even small garden beside the hotel only for guests. All in all a good choice if You are not on luxury but don't forget it's a hostel not hotel and the price is really cheap.

First time to warsaw loved it. nice little place, good enough breakfast considering it being included in the price, free internet access both wireless and on comouters. the staff are warm and helpful and if you get a private room with bathroom you very really could be in a hotel. nice decor and great value for money. is in easy walking distance of many of the sites of warsaw and supermarkets round the corner if you wan to cook food as there is a fully equiped kitchen. being english though i might struggle but found it a amazing. there is a babushka restaurant up the road very cheap and lovely traditional food and a nice sushi place next door. would advise anyone who is looking for a good atmosphere but perhaps lacking on funds to choose this place i doubt you'll be dissappointed. the larger dorms seemed nice but i guess it depends who you end up sharing with. hope you choose this place as is great :)

I've booked for 4 nights. i stay 1 night and i run out this hostel !!! for 10 euros more (per night), i stay in 4 stars novotel in centrum of warsaw!!!! never go in tamka hostel!!!

We stayed in a excellent private room, ensuite, for two nights. We felt like in our house. A very friendly staff, excellent location.

Nice hostel, nice and friendly staff, good location. First visit, alone.
