The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was pleasant. My only complaint concerns the noise - our room directly adjoined the common area and other guests talked loudly and watched DVDs late into the nights making it impossible to sleep. This hostel would be great fun as a backpacker but I wouldn't recommend it to those who like a little peace and quiet.

Brilliant! The most welcoming hostel staff you could ever imagine! Very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to help! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was basic but adequate! Unfortunately there was no air con and it was very hot, although we got a big fan! Also watch out for the over friendly local conmen, unfortunately they can spot tourists a mile off!
