Hostel Stay on Main - Los Angeles

It was great staying at "Stay" , if I am in downtown LA I would definitely stay at the same place ... I would recommend this place to anyone who is low on budget and wants to stay here for a long weekend ... the hotel staff was really friendly and cooperative ... I left my key inside room and they were kind enough to issue me a new one free of charge ... One slight flaw in the room is that id doesn't have a cupboard or small closet ... I had to attend a conference and I wanted to hang my cloths somewhere ... one other thing is that shared bathrooms do not have any clips to hang cloths and also there's isn't a place to put stuff like shampoo and soap ... there's no mirror as well ... other then these minor things I felt completely satisfied with "Stay" ...

Very friendly staff, very clean room... My journey was excellent.

I expect an hotel with parking free. Because this hotel is in the downtown, the problem is the parking.

The staff are awesome and the location is brilliant, I'd stay here again the only drawback is the toitlets and showers on the halls but there's a vanity in the room, no line ups, plenty of hot water and it's always clean. For 69 bucks a night, holy hell :D The internet only works in the lobby and they've got complimentary macs, it's ver colorful, simple and clean clean clean. There's a great chinese joint right down the block as well as an ok mexican place (I recommend the teryiaki chicken plate not bowl and the big burritos plus the small tacos) You've also got a Ralphs supermarket about 4 blocks away, ou're in the jewelry district, the fasion district (cheap shoes and grea italian ties :D) and there's a good old seven 11 close too. Public transit is awesome wiht the underground only 2 blocks away, you're a 20 minute walk from the staples/nokia/convention center as well. If you're into something more classic go for the cecil hotel right next door but I haven' experienced that oen os no promises, the area is downtwon aiming towards the worse side but completly safe with 5 star hotels only 5 blocks away, I walked down to my hotel at 11 at night in a full suit, the only difference, more people wanted money about it go for a great deal guys :)
