The Hostel closes at 3:00 and doesn't reopen until 9:00. But really I don't know when it happens. One morning I went out 4 breakfast and when returned, at 10:30, It was still closed (it did't happen only one time)??? There's no security founds, so if you wanted to leave your bag to the reception...You hope to find them in the morning....the shower is broken.

The Guest hostel it is very well located, near picadilly circus. The are good security, you need a special key for the lift to go to your stage room. Jermyn street it is a good area, clean and chic. The wi-fi works very welle, the beds are very ok. The only thing you are to be careful with, it is the code access for the front door, because at night, when the reception or the disco are closed, you need a code to entry to the hostel, and the staff hotel do not explain this part, and you can sleep all night out

Beds are very good; rooms are crowded and sanitary space few, but since it is a "ladies only" hostel, it is o.k. Check-in at the Russian underground restaurant comes as a slight irritation but I still think it is recommendable for the more serious type of women travellers (not the party night owls).

I cancelled the reservation because of a last-minute change in plans. It was great to have the 24-hour notice thing in place so I could do that. Recommended the place to some fellow travelers, as well.

It was my first shared room experience (because some renter in 9flats cancelled day before), and I was just for one night arriving very late. But If I would know the place I would be there the whole week. The area is the best in London, the street is beautiful with Hacket Pink...in your door side, the beds are very clean and quiet, also the bathroom. But the most special is the personal, all of them but specially the nigh doorman, the poland one, he is A REAL EXPERT IN ECONOMICS AND OF COURSE he knows more of Spain Economical environment than Elena Salgado, even when he is Poland. I would say his name was Peter, but I'll found out, as I am planning to visit him periodically as I would need his economic advise as I am going to work in banking there. (LOL but True)

This is my first time staying at a Hostel so I don't have anything to compare it to. Also, I am 53 years old and I had a bad cold and this is not really my cup of tea. If I had been in my 20's, this would have been a great place to stay. I went to Europe with my sisters and two nieces and we stayed here because our apartment in London cancelled at the last minute and there was nothing else available. My nieces had been staying in Hostels in Amsterdam and Germany (and they are considerably younger) so they were perfectly fine with staying here. Having said all of this, for a place to bunk for the night it was more than adequate. The daytime staff was excellent and very helpful. They were flexible with check in times and attentive to anything else we needed. The sheets were clean and the comforters were fairly thick. I had an unpleasant experience with a girl in my room, but that is to be expected in any "bunking with strangers" situation. This leads me to the best part of this Hostel....The night manager who works in the Abracadabra restaurant below the Hostel. He is Filipino maybe? and extremely sweet and customer service oriented. I can't believe I didn't get his name because he really stands out from ALL people who work with the public. He served us our dinner (the restaurant is really cheesy, but surprisingly good food) and took great care of us. Although he manages and works the restaurant and bar downstairs, he was also the one who helped me with my room mate problem and actually came to my room to straighten things out. The only other night staff person was cold and unhelpful. The helpful guy doesn't belong here; I hope the Hostel appreciates him!!!! The location is excellent for walking, tubing or busing it anywhere. My overall stay and return review is tainted by my age. For youngsters, it's great.

I felt very safe staying here which is especially important to me. The location is PRIME and is worth the small extra amount of money per night. The staff is very professional and friendly.
