Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

After check-in our pass is blocked to enter the room. Staff was quickly to solve this problem! Good bathroom available. Double room is a little bit small but good for a couple of days. There is no elevator in the hotel. Noisy room. Metro station: Picoas or Saldanha (with elevators!) to the airport or city centre (via station Marques Pombal and change to blue line Baixa-Chiado) In the neighbourhood different restaurants and bakeries.

Nice hostel if you are looking for a good quality/price ratio. I surprisingly found that the breackfast was included in the price, while in the booking it was said not to be included. However it was not of very high quality. The rooms are not so big, but the best thing is that they are equipped with a sink and a bidet. I'm satisfied with my stay there.

Good value for the price. The breakfast is basic but sufficient. Staff not all that friendly or helpfull, but nothing specific to complain about. Venere did however mess up by not changing my booking as I requested, leading to me having to pay an extra evening.

Breakfast flavourless. Nice building and public area typically decorated. Building a bit noisy. Ask for room with outside window and private bathroom ( ex : nr22), and not on the ground floor.

The hostel is very nice, the rooms are quite big. It is easily to arrive by bus or also walking from the "Rossio". The staff is very friendly. Only the rooms aren't very quite because of the doors.

This Pension is located in an old historic building that was converted to rooms (which is very common in Lisbon) and that comes with its own pros and cons. Pros: the location is great - quiet residential street within easy walking distance from either Picoas or Pombal metro stations. Beautiful buildings around it, few restaurants, lots of caffes etc. Not much by was of food choices but enough to get you through the day well fed and in good spirits :-) The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The price was a bargain even by local standards. Cons: the walls are paper-thin and you will hear *everything* going on outside of your room, in the next room, hallway etc. If you are a light sleeper, pack your earplugs. It was not much of a problem for me but I can easily see how it would be for someone who needs a quiet place to fall asleep. As with many pensions, the quality of the rooms varies from room to room - I stayed in this pension twice and on my second visit I was given a room next to the first one I stayed in. To my surprise, the second one was quite a bit better but for lower price. Also, for some strange reason Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby or in the dining room (which often becomes the internet room once the breakfast is over :-) Overall, it's a great choice for a backpacker on a budget or for young travelers (or those who are not too much concerned with the frills and prefer the value over plush). I will definitely come back :-)

Overall we were satisfied. But compared to other hostels we stayed in in Lisbon this one is far away from downtown and the places of interest, consider a 30 minutes walk to Baixa or 10 minutes to a nearby underground station. By night the surrounding felt unsafe, particularly the hotels street. The room was very small, suitable for sleeping, but that is all. The breakfast, staff, cleanliness is OK. It was worth the price, but there are better options in Lisbon.
