In general I liked the hotel so much, but I will suggest to improve the quality of the breakfast, I think it is really needed.

Positive: - clean room, toilets - friendly good English speaking staff - bed made up every day - good quality and cheap dinner Negative - closed was useless; big, only five hangers and the shelf was broken. - no kitchen to make your own food, which is necessary in such a big hostel - no social areas inside, only some couches in the empty hall - no locks on the two outher left toilets on the 3th floor.

Great value for money. Clean common facilities. Beautiful high ceilings and long corridors. A short bus ride from the sights of Florence. Supermarket just outside the gate.

We stayed there seven nights - and althoug the hostel is located relatively close to the city stadium - the area is quiet and safe. The access to the city centre (Piazza San Marco, Santa Maria Novella) is very easy beacause of the bus running every 10 minutes. The staff will help you in every question/problem you have. The rooms are clean, the meals the serve (braekfast and dinner) very tasty and the atmosphere just great - and all this for very low price. Mille grazie!

First, the directions for public transportation on the website are very confusing. They don't tell you which way to take the bus...so I rode around the 11 the wrong way for an hour before getting back to the train station and just taking a cab. The best way is to take bus 17 towards Via Verga (i think). The hostel is located about 10 minutes out of the city center by bus. You couldn't walk there...it would take forever. The entire staff is helpful, welcoming, and seem to enjoy their jobs. I did laundry...it was a bit expensive, but at least it was offered. The room was clean. There was a shower and sink. There is no TV or radio. I did not try the breakfast or dinner buffet, but they looked good. The internet wifi is free and the signal is pretty strong. They also have 4 computers with internet that you can sit down at. I did hang out on the patio at night and it was a nice atmosphere, never too party-ish. There were a wide variety of people staying here. Everything around the hostel closes early, so have dinner in town if you aren't eating at the hostel. I would stay here again, now that I know where it is!

I found the some cookies remained in the drawer of closet before I left this hostel. it's horrible experience, because we never open the drawer when we stayed there (three days). I even dont know how long the cookies left in the drawer. Besides, the webpage mention our room equipped with shower and sink, but both of them are not well divided, so the humidity of room is always very high. i can easily find many water drops on the window. if you only care the budget in your travel, this hostel can be taken into the consideration.

Perfect for students who need a room just for sleep the night while they stay out all the day. Perfect welcoming and low prices, the 7 santi is not exactly near to the center but you can reach it in 15 minutes by foot or 10 minutes by bus. There are some computers at your disposal, the bathrooms (in common) are clean, there is a wide choice for the breakfast.

The accommodation is pretty basic, but clean and tidy. The all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast for 4 euro is fabulous value with a great choice of tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, ice water, whole-grain and white bread, fried eggs, butter, cold cuts, cheese, biscuits, honey, chocolate spread, muffins, cake and what not. There are four PCs in the lobby, WiFi, TV, vending machines with refreshments, cozy places to read or rest. The bathroom area is OK for a quick shower in your slippers (only there were no lights in half the toilets). The building is old and not in its best condition, but they do a great job keeping it clean and neat at a hard-to-beat price. The hostel is located next to a big church, and the surroundings seem secure and pleasant, with a bus station in front of the facility and a newspaper stand at the station where you can buy tickets (1.20 euro) to take you to city center in several minutes. We left our car parked out in the street (1 euro/hour)and took the bus to the historical city center (as much as I gathered, only residents are allowed to park in the city center, and visitors are to use parking garages that charge 4 euro per hour). There is a football stadium just around the corner where you can allegedly park free of charge (but we never bothered). And last, but not least: Alice and Sandra, the girls who work at the hostel are very kind and helpful, with an answer to any inquiry and a very good command of English. As hostels go, this one is hard to beat for overnight stay and roaming the city for the rest of the day/evening/night. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a good place for a base camp, but beware of nighttime noise from the bar area. I have stayed in many hostels so this is coming from experience. The noise from the music outside carries up into the front rooms and since there's not A/C we of course opened the windows which allowed the booming music to flow in freely. Everything else was good, breakfast was filling, people were happy to help out. Would have like quieter late nights, though - with or without kids in tow...

Is a very good option if you don't want to spend too much money in a place to stay, is easy to find the place, shared rooms are not too big, but you are able to have some space. Shared bathrooms with some things to fix (for example the lights in the showers), but enough. It has a restaurant-bar in the entrance, so you can go there and drink or eat something in the night.

nice place, friendly staff. The room was a little bit small, but clean. at night it was a little bit noisy due to parties at the ground floor... so you either join the party or wait midnight till they turn off the music. the overall judgment is positive! :)

Frindly staff. The hostel is a converted convent, and for that reason the atmosphere is quite cool and unique. The rooms are very well kept and clean, beds comfortable. NOT EXPENSIVE AT ALL. I sleeped very well , it was quiet and the big garden behind is very nice. However, the large dorms are under reconstruction. I booked a dormitory and they gave me a private with bathroom! Not bad for 10,00€ payed!...I think will be a very nice hostel after that! The staff basically helps you in any problem. Not bad location, I would stay again.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. The rooms were cleaned, the bathrooms were also clean, the staff was friendly. Breakfast all you can eat for 3eu with plenty of variety, dinner all you can eat including drink for 8 eu accompanied by music and dj. The common areas were really fun and relaxing. It was an old convent, still connected to the church Sette Santi. It was a cool experience. There is a bus stop less than one block from the hostel, a grocery store next door and legit pizza 2 blocks away. The staff was really helpful, over all atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Lots of other travelers to meet!

Simply shameful! 120 euros for 2 days in a dirty and uncomfortable double room. If you stay there for one night it could be also acceptable for a hostel in such a touristic, expensive city. The second day, they force all the guests to get out of the room for "cleaning purposes" from 11 a.m to 14p.m.So you expect that they would clean up your room, but they do not. They just clean up the room for new customers! So it means that even though you paid the same price for the second day like a new customer, you get no service at all.(i don't want to imagine how would it be to stay there 7 days without any cleaning service).Lack of seriousness, of honesty, and of respect. SHAME ON YOU OWNERS

You get exactly what you see on the website. Clean, simple rooms. We had a three bed room for two of us and it was very spacious. The bathroom is very small but it was private and clean. Because of the nature of the building (it use to be a convent) there is no sound proofing so people having conversations outside your door at night was pretty loud. I highly recommend eating at the hostel.. We paid 12euro for a full dinner and breakfast the next day! So much food and it was really good too! Location-wise it is not in the city, but very close to a train station (Campo De Marte) so easy transport. We walked into the city, it took about 30mins or you can get a bus right outside the hostel for 1 euro. Great social atmosphere with the hostel eating area outside in the garden, great to sit and chat to other travellers. My first "backpackers/hostel" experience and I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others too.

The hostel is an old building that was a monastery. At the first two floors there is the hostel, with dormitories and low prices. At the last floor there are double rooms where we stayed. Rooms are little and simple, no comfort. We paid 70 euros per night, and at our arrival, receptionists told us that heating system was on only three hours a day! And there was 0 degrees outside!! Fortunately, we had to stay there only two nights, the coldest of our life!! I advice you to not go there absolutely in winter.. Maybe in warmer seasons! Anyway, for this price you should try other structures..

This is my first time staying in a Hostel instead of Hotel. The room and the beds are clean.I was sharing my room with 2 young teenagers. The location of this hostel is away from the city centre. But the public transport is just across the road and the bus services are excellent or if you like to be different, you can take a train from Campo Di Marte station approximately 10mins walk from the Hostel it will take you directly to the city center.
