Bell Hostel and Guesthouse - Budapest

Clean and comfortable guest house. In the heart of the city. Near the bridge Margit. Nice hostel owners were told that it is better to visit and gave a map of the city. Were always open to our questions in detail and all told! Our room was spacious, warm, with the necessary furniture, fresh linen and towels. Feel at home. Hostel is suitable for couples and for couples with a child. Sounds from the street we did not interfere, on the contrary - it did feel the atmosphere of the city. In the morning we enjoyed the sunrise from our windows.

It was such great experience to stay in the Bell guesthouse. It is very conveniently located; walking distance from all major hot spots. I really appreciated the flexible check in and out times. The rooms were clean and convenient. Gabor (the new owner) has a passion for his city and is guests that is unique. He made himself available at all hours if I needed anything. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend the property to friends.

Very nice, clean and modern and excellent value. 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms on 4th and 5th floor in a refurbished building facing an inner courtyard, wireless internet (free), no traffic noise. Modern lift. Common facilities: Kitchen, Computer, TV room, Roof terrasse. A young couple (new owners) were very helpful hosts. 7 min walk to Margareth Bridge, 4 min walk to Nuygati railway station

Not quite what I was expecting, but in fact much better. It's not really a hostel, more like an apartment, in a great location on the top two floors of an old (and well renovated) building. There is no reception - there is not even any kind of reception, don't expect anyone to be there when you arrive. I had to phone and the couple who run it arrived about 15 minutes later. Be prepared to pay up front in cash (Euros or Forints) - I had to go to at local ATM. The owners were friendly but I only saw them once, when I arrived and they came to clean and collect payment. They simply gave me a set of keys and left me on my own - very trusting! Most of my time there (5 nights), I was alone in the apartment, which must be the best bargain in Budapest. I imagine that if the place is full, then, unless you know the other guests, there could be a lack of privacy, because it's not en-suite. Apparently the rooms at the front can be noisy - a major road with an all-night tram route is outside.

It was very dirty, bathroom everything looked not be cleaned for weeks.

Just dont take room with street view, the noise is very loud, otherwise an excelent hostel with kichen and all you need.

Very nice place. More guesthouse than hostel. Spacious and clean, with a kitchen and free wi-fi. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was good spacious and clean, the service was good and smiling what is important. You can really try the breakfast is good and fresh and you will not be hungry after. Like for Vienna is great located and have good transport link. We can recommend to people which one don't mind that is a Guest House because is worth it:) Thank you.
