First visit to the Gracia district and although the hotel is not in a main street it leads easily onto others such as the Gran Via. Room size was good and although shower area is small it is ok. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. I didn'take breakfast since there are cafes just a few yards away serving coffee and croissant at minimal prices. I liked the hotel, the staff, the area and would easily stay here again. If you want good value accommodation in an area which is not filled with tourists, then this is it. Now the bed has a quite firm mattress which may not suit everyone, but it is good quality(and the linen). I must add that I am a solo female traveller in my late sixties and felt safe in the hotel and surrounding area. I had a fantastic visit and met some of the locals.

simple, clean room. at times did smell musty and bathroom was a little moldy. overall, great price for quality. tip: slightly difficult to find. Take train to Lesseps station. At top of stairs/entrance to subway, (your back is now facing the entrance to the subway) walk toward small dog park. Dog park is now on your left and shops and cafes are on your right. Take a right onto Torrent de L'olla (2nd or 3rd street on your right). Walk about 2 blocks (sort of downhill). Hostal is on your left.

Very nice room, clean, spacious near Lesseps metro station. The hotel is located at Gracia which is my favorite Barcelona district, close to the center but not with less tourists. We didn't try the breakfast but there are a lot of bakeries and cafeterias nearby. The only irritating thing for us was that we couldn't sit outside after 11 pm but I guess that's a good thing for some people...

It was exactly where I wanted to be in Gracia. Very modern, efficient place. I liked the lockers where you can leave your bags for as long as you like on departure day (not piled up in some insecure room as usually happens). My room had spacious terrace with nice skyline and night sky view. Only drawback was that there seemed to be problem with Wifi connexion some days. Hotel much used by foreign students, but never noisy.

Hostel Residencia Erasmus Gracia is located in the university district. As the metros close at midnight, if you want to stay out and play into the early morning, a cab ride can cost 20 euros from Las Ramblas. This hostel is well appointed and offers singles with ensuite bathrooms as well as group dormitory style rooms. The hotel has free Wi-Fi

Immaculately clean and neat as a pin, (even the eating/microwave area, which is especially impressive.) Quiet, with free wifi and friendly, helpful staff. (only 2 qualms: the shower floods easily and the laundry facilities are pricey. But these are very minor concerns compared to most 'budget' places I've stayed!) A perfect cross between a hostel (with limited kitchen facilities and common rooms) and budget hotel. I'll definitely stay here again!

If you're only looking for affordable and convenient accommodation in a nice and friendly neighbourhood, this is a good choice. It's 2 streets away from carrer de verdi, with shops and cafes and restaurants. It's also close to the metro station, wich gets you to Rambla in 5 stops. Very good value for your money, and I would stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights. We booked a double room and they gave us a long and narrow room with two single beds that couldn't be joined. We slept all the time in a single bed. Air conditioned system broken. Sound proofing nonexistent, you can hear everything that happened in nearby rooms. No hair dryer and safe. Prices too high for the quality standard. Absolutely not recommended.

Excellent value for money choice for barcelona. We paid 58€/day for a double room and considering the hotel prices in barcelona for May this hotel was a really good choice. It was more like a 2-star hotel than a hostel. Location was very good also. Just 300m from metro station Lesseps which was 4 stations from placa catalunya (barcelona centre). Very quiet location far away from noisy tourists but quite near the centre by metro. Bakery, supermarkets and cafe are within 2min walking distance and you can have what you need in reasonable non-tourist prices. Room was ok, normal size, without fridge and with separate bathroom. Not luxurious but quite good from what we paid. Overall, a very good budget choice.

Good value for the price. Location was good. Away from the overcrowded streets but close to Metro, although we walked to many of the sites and just caught the metro back at the end of the day. Lots of bakeries, coffee shops and supermarkets around. Clean but very basic rooms. No bells and whistles. You don't get the standard fridge, coffee maker, ironing board, clock, phone, hair dryer, etc. in the room. Has only a couple of TV channels, if you plan on watching TV on your trip. Thin walls through which you could hear everything, we weren't lucky with considerate neighbors which is not the hotel's fault.

The price-quality ratio is surely convenient. The hotel is located in a very strategic, well-served and tranquil area (we really appreciated this). Our room was not a double room, but a single one even if we asked for a double. The room could be a little cleaner and more comfortable. Nonetheless, our time there was fine and we would come back (in one of the larger rooms).

really really good spend for the money. you actually get more than you bargained for. ;) to get to here, you should take the RENFE train from the airport to the city center, then take the Green Line (L3) to Lesseps station. walk straight for about 30m, and then turn right to Torrent de L'Olla street. you will see the hotel on the right side of the street. it's about 300m from the Lesseps metro station. the wifi in our room (we stayed on the 4th floor) was not working.

Nice place for a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and quiet. The only drawback: one would expect to have at least 2 chairs in a double room... The rooms are very spacious, but are empty except for comfortable double bed and a wardrobe. No table, one chair and one armchair. There is only a very small shelf under the TV, we had to fit 'everything' there. Except for that, we liked the place very much. The staff speaks English fluently and is very helpful. Several general stores are nearby and it takes only 2 minute stroll to get to the nearest underground.

Two issues cannot be forgiven: - poor cleanliness (which is the worst thing for an accomodation): we had stained sheets in the room - late night noise: groups in the patio made an intolerable noise up to 2.30 in the morning. My advice for traveler is: you should not accept an unclean place, even if travelling on a budget. Barcelona is a big city: don't even think to stay here, you'll probably be able to find another place.

En la noche se puede salir a caminar pues es una zona muy segura, hay bares agradables.Hay una estación del metro a 5 minutos caminando.
