Hostel LK - Barcelona

Nice because it's better than nothing but for the price you can find a better hostel.

Dirty areas without wifi in the 2 nd floor, old beds, noisy, poor attention of the staff, expensive for what it shows, dirty microwave and refrigerator. I'm not over there

Hostel is owned and run by a friendly chinese family, only handicap is that only the son speaks english, rest of the family only speaks chinese and spanish, which makes the communication really hard. The shower was not cleaned properly, was black mould all over the place, rest of the room looked ok for the price we paid. Rooms were pretty loud, we could hear the neighbours conversations. Hostel is near to all important places, public transportation and situated ok. Had some problems because they booked the amount from the credit card, even if the website said it was only as a guarantee back up and we wanted to pay cash. Also: we did not receive an invoice which I think is a bit strange. It did meet half of my standards and I will probably return to it when short of money because the price is ok. When I would have more money to spend I would probably sort out some other hotel/hostel.

Very easy to get around in Barcelona from here. Metro and buses very close to the hotel. A nice park very close. Nice room, as expected for this price.

All rooms have bed bugs !!!

Great location, perfect stay

Basic needs for short stay.., the stuff were helpful and nice, very near to the metro station, and can be easily reached by one bus from the airport.

Located between three major metro stations and at walking distance from Plaza Espanya, Hostal LK is a great place at which to stay for a trip in Barcelona. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, air conditioned, and quiet. There was complimentary Wi-Fi and a communal seating and dining area with a refrigerator which was very convenient to store breakfast and some snacks. Couldn't recommend it more.

Good location and price

Our room was right next to a common area, so there was a little bit of noise but other than that, it was perfectly fine.

The LK staff dont know at all english, and i can't understand with nobody.

I think the employees are very competent and i loved the quiteness of the room. i suggest that it should include breakfast.

Pleasant but noisy. Could have supplied extra towels. Friendly and helpful staff. Very handy for travelling on the Metro.

I was in Barcelona for Christmas with my girlfriend. The hotel is cheap, that's a good thing, but also it sounds like no big quality. The room wasn't really warm, the window had a little hole. Clean service everyday. The hotel is managed by asiatic staff. In the end, a basic standard for a basic price. I recommend to stay there just for a few days, or a week-end.
