Hostal Jentoft - Seville

We stayed in a twin room. The room was very small (impossible to unpack or even sit on anything except bed). There was no common room, so we in order to plan the next day with friends we had to sit on our beds. Old air-conditioning. The receptionists did not speak english at all so it was very hard to communicate as we only knew a little spanish. They (with the exception of one older gentleman)were also quite impatient and impolite. Standard breakfast included 1(!) piece of bread, 1(!)cup of tea/cofee and 1(!) juice which was ridiculously little! Thankfully noone checked and all the guests just took as much as they liked.

Room and staying itself was fine. Receptionist was helpful and suggested a good local restaurant for us, but doesn't really speak English. Well, the bad experience happened after the night we spent there. I lost one of my travel kit in the room. I wrote a mail to their customer service that night(19th), and tried to go back to the hotel to collect the thing at the 20th. The receptionist was another person who doesn't really speak English as well. I tried to explain my purpose to him. What he did was keep saying "no" and "nothing". I left the city and the hotel in vain. And then, I received a mail from the hotel at 21st and saying they got my bag. I requested them to send it to me to UK, since the reception said "Nothing" in the first place. They refused, only willing to apologize for their poor communication within, and indicating I should not be so obsess with my "worth than 20 euro travel kit". All in all, hardware itself was fine, but the service was not satisfying at all.

Mainly clean and functional.The relationship between price and quility was very good.Good breakfast.Friendly staff.I would return to hostal Jentoft.

I went to Sevilla on holydays. The hotel was clean and appropriate for sleeping and having a shower. Not for watching TV or working there. You must watch TV with uncomfortable headphones and the room has no a single chair or desk where to put your laptop and take advantage of the free internet access. Location is pretty good, near to the bus station and just 15 minutes walking from the city center.

Language problems with the staff/ The elevator doesn't work/ Located far from the main tourist center

My stay was as a holiday in Seville. It was the first time at Jentoft. The front desk staff weren't too helpful, none knew how to speak English and communication was difficult.

Rooms was fine but it was a central room very little day light and lots of noise from other floors. Hotel is in good location but its 1 floor in a 6 floor building. No English spoken by any receeption staf, however this did not cause any problems. Overall you get what you pay for, good central location, clean bedding & towels and a clean room.

It really impressed me clean of the rooms.Price is correct for the services.

not always welcoming, somehow strange man at the desk, not very noisy but you are made use earphones to watch tv. We did not mind because we do not watch tv but others may mind. lift is somehow the sort of a broken or industrial one. Feels veary to use it. Internet is only usable in the Salon which is not airconditioned and not very comfortable. they make you pay on arrival. We will not stay again.

Located fantastically for river, Triana and all main sites and had convenient car parking. Stay slightly marred by over officious staff. Pre-payment only on arrival!

The room was very clean but no charm. Very quiet - window has no view. OK for the price paid.

This was an adequate hotel. I chose it because it offered parking (which is handy), its location was central enough (about 15 mins walk from old town), but it really lacks atmosphere, and the rooms look out over really ugly concrete. Another review described it as staying in a hospital - and I do see why. It was perfectly adequate as a hotel room, but not somewhere that inspires you to spend any time there.

Nice personel, good location, room with basic furniture, clean but very small and dark (window to the inner patio de luz only). Good for cheap overnight, (excellent price/quality), not for day staying.

Good location, next to Plaza de Armas bus station & bullfighting ring, cathedral/Alcazar area within walking distance. Room & bathroom spacious but rather sterile -- whitewashed walls, rolling hospital-like beds, inward-facing window (no sunlight, ever). Reception didn't speak English but was helpful in calling us an early-morning airport taxi after some miming (and v. broken Spanish on our part!). Very good price, but would look for better to enjoy Seville to its fullest.

Hostal Jentoft offer good and very cheap accommodation, not for people which spent a lot of time in the room. Excellent if you need a room just to sleep and shower bath. Parking is too expensive for such hostal (10 Euro/day)!
