We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Lloret. The entire family was so friendly and hospitable. On the day of our departure, we had to check out that morning, but our flight wasn't leaving until that evening. We were allowed to keep our luggage there and have a taxi pick us up. The breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful, and the bed was by far the most comfortable one we slept in while on our trip to Cuenca (we slept in 5 different beds in total, so we had a pretty good basis for comparison). We would gladly stay at Casa Llret again. It was a peaceful, relaxing haven that by the end of our trip, we badly needed. We can't emphasize enough how wonderful the entire family was, and how much we enjoyed meeting them. All three adult children speak excellent English, and were very helpful with our stumbling attempts at Spanish. The stay was a real pleasure!

This is a great boutique hotel , located in the home property of the owners. The owners are really friendly and helpful , speak more than two languages and the whole place is of high quality. I loved the breakfast at the bar table! Wifi is available everywhere. Be prepared to take a taxi (10min ride) if you want to head downtown center.

We were there the night before Carnival, and the room next door was so noisy and with paper-thin walls, we heard it until after 2 a.m. We also heard every toilet flush from room below us and one other from nearby. The manager was gone on Mon. & Tues. and had employes at the desk who couldn't speak English, so they were no help with questions we had. No hair dryer in the room, but she loaned us one that kept overheating and shutting down. I would not stay there again; would stay closer to downtown.
