Great location, small but very clean and modern room. Manager could try to be a bit more friendly though (and especially not get into shouting matches with customers at 8 am Sunday morning when my room is right next to reception). And since they only turn the air conditioning on at night at least a fan would have been appreciated. Overall, though, I was quite pleased with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced hotel in a prime location (nice restaurants and high end shopping in an authentic Barcelona neighbourhood with lots of Gaudi architecture and very short, safe walk to gay quarter).

Located in a very nice, centrally located and close to many points of interest for the nightlife. The rooms are very small, however comfortable.

Location excellent, but very small rooms and air con did not work. Window was out to small back "shaft" which did not provide any air, on the contrary somebody was smoking out of the windows in the "shaft" during night so we felt like suffocating. Otherwise very easy access to train station (bus no 4 stopping right outside) and walking distance (10 min) to the Rambla.

It's quite near to the rambla.. for a week end is good..

I stayed for 3 days. We had our meals nearby. Very good

All I really wanted was a clean comfortable room with private toilet and showering facilities and that is what I got . Whilst the rooms were small I was so busy seeing the sights of Barcelona that I was only in my room to sleep so it was not an issue. The price was affordable and I loved being in that part of the city.

the price was only because of the position that was perfect. but it was really too much in relation with the service offered. and you have to add taxes (7%) that is not included in venere's price!! in the room there wasn't a real bathroom, you have to forget privacy! i could listen every noise from others rooms. my room was really different from the one in the picture!

la pensione condal, perchè di questo si tratta, per quasi 120 euro a notte non ti offre un bel bel niente i bagni non vengono riforniti di sapone shampo e udite udite: carta igigienica.In più dulcis in fundo al prezzo pattuito su venere va aggiunto un bel sette per cento di tasse locali.non andateci.
