although the hostal was smaller than i expected it was excellent in all ways. the service was very good and the man (i think his name was george) was exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much trouble. being able to leave our luggage there the day we left was so helpful as we had a late flight.

Buscamos un sitio economico, centrico y aqui lo encontramos, con muchos plus de servicio. Las habitaciones son pequeňas, pero limpias y bien cuidadas, con mucha luz. El wi-fi no funciono bien de todo.

Don't stay here. I didn't listen to the comments because I was trying to save us money and thought this would be ok. But, after experiencing it, I have to say, it's not worth any amount of savings.

How to reach Hostal Absolut

By public transportation
The nearest underground stops are Urgell (L1) and Universitat (L2).

By airplane
From the Barcelona-El Prat international airport, take the L10 local train to Pg. de Gràcia. Then switch to underground L2 -Pepe Ventura/Paral.lel and get off at Universitat stop. The hostal is 7-minute walk from the underground station.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
