160 Euros a night seemed a lot to pay for a triple room, but given the location and season, it's what the market demands. We were not disappointed, however. Vasilas (manager) did an excellent job of making us welcome and attending to our every need - from reservations to recommendations. Tony, the hospitable owner of the property, even drove us to the ferry pier when we departed, providing an entertaining story of his life from Brooklyn to Miami to Santorini. The location is BEAUTIFUL. Just like the travel brochures. Imerovigli is a great place if you want access to what's going on along with peace and quiet. It's a 20 minute walk up and down many steps to Fira, but we walked this at least once each day. If you focus on the views and enjoy meeting the folks and checking out the stores along the way, it's not a bad trip at all. Buses are available in Fira to any sights on the island. We took the bus to Kamari beach one day and it only cost 1.4 Euros and the bus leaves on the 20 minute trip every half hour. Another day we caught a bus headed to Oia outside the hotel for another 1.4 Euros. This too, was an excellent half-day trip. If you want, Vasilis will arrange for a rental car that you can park close by the hotel. The room was clean and neat, with plenty of room and a well-appointed and good-sized bathroom. The tap water's not suggested for drinking but the hotel provides several large bottles of water for your use in the in-room fridge. The sunset is beautiful, the water is beautiful, and the view of the white houses on the cliffs is beautiful. The morning breakfast was excellent, and the patio area was perfect for an afternoon or evening drink overlooking the caldera. Tony also owns the adjoining Blue Note restaurant which serves excellent food and wine at reasonable prices. Tony even gave us a bottle of wine from his own local label vinyard. I recommend this hotel to those looking for a nice quiet place to stay with travel brochure views.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
