This hotel was very good : easy to reach from the highway, you can park your car, you can go easily to the main touristic points in Verona.

The playground for the childrens was not secure and then they do not having the autorisation to open the playground for 2 years. Our 2 childrens were disappointed. On departure, they requested another price and fortunately we printed our reservation with the good prices. The room was small for 1 big bed, 1 todler bed and a bed for our young girl.

except for one Srilankan waiter, none spoke any other language but Italian - especially the reception guys, did not even know how to do a check-out! forgot to charge me for the room, I had to remind them that they took money only for the restaurant! All this cuased me extra time, anguish and a taxi ride so that I won't miss my train!

Wifi connection is only pay-for, from Vodafone, with prices as high has 5 eur for 1/2 hour. Breakfast not included, costs 12 eur if you want it (and coffe/cappucino are not from a real italian espresso bar machine). Forget going to city center by foot: at least 1h walk. Strictly nothing to see/do in the vicinity of the hotel, not even pizzerias/restaurants.

the hotel is quite far from the center of Verona, so don´t think about it, if you don´t have a car. the recepcionists had bad manners and were rude, so the welcoming was bad, I think they didn´t like to be ask anything!.we payed for a triple, and what we got was two single beds and a child bed, but we were 3 adults, and we made it clear on the booking. overall in my opinion is a 2* or 3* as maximun. I would not recommend it.

It is the second time we come at the hotel and surely we will come in the future as we found that it is perfect for our purposes. We went to Verona for the spectacles in the Arena and the hotel is very comfortable and it is rather easy to reach the Arena even if it is not close to it.

Staff seemed abrupt to the point of rudeness at times, though this may be a language problem. There seemed to be a big difference in behaviour between hotel staff and restaurant/bar stafff (very helpful). The bar seemed to shut very early, it was often difficult to get a drink and a comfortable sit down. That said, it was an ideal location for seeing Verona, and perfectly adequate as a place to sleep.

Here was a real bad hotel experience. The receptionist was a poor communicator, At breakfast we found an empty breadbin and asking for bread the waiter said there wasn't any left. But when an Italian guest arrived he got a special tray of bread. We protested of course and after that suddenly there seemed to be bread again. The hotel hosted 20 schoolkids during our stay. At midnight we had to confront the teachers of the kids with their shouting and playing football in the rooms. At 06.00 in the morning we sat upright in bed again: there was a match going on above us. Of course we complained and yes! we got a reduction of the price of 10% and both breakfasts free. But still I would not recomment this hotel. I refuse to understand why schoolkids have to sleep in a **** Hotel?

The hotel was ok. They have a children's play area that was good for our little ones. And they have free, unguarded parking. The room was very nice with 2 double beds; a bit rare in Italy, I think. But the elevator is small so don't take a lot of stuff and/or kids in it at the same time. No breakfast included. And it is easy to mistake the Holiday Inn near the freeway exit for this one. They are only about 3 miles apart. That one looks nicer from the outside, but this one is closer to city center.

The hotel was much as expected for the price but the location was not good for travellers without a car. The bus service was reasonable up to 21.00 hrs. but we didn't feel comfortable in the area. We got the last bus one night and were dropped off in a strange place along the way with no idea of where we were or how to get to the hotel. It was an unpleasant experience. Take a taxi in the evening.

Be aware, it is not the first Holiday Inn you find when you enter from A4 high-way.Pass it,continue towards the city and you will find the right one after about 500-1000 meters on your left hand. There is a bus station to the centre 300 meters from the hotel, but the last bus from the centre back to the hotel is at about 23.00,so dont stay late in the centre. The good thing is that it is close to the high-way and a new comer will not be embarassed in trying to find it.For a three-bed room we paid 90 euros without breakfast.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was nicely decorated and it was lovely coming back from the heat into the airconditioned room. The breakfast buffet was superb. Easy access to the bus station meant cheap and efficient transport into Verona and even the taxi back hotel from the Arena very late at night, was less than euro 15. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel and in Verona. Would go again!

The staff is competent, helpfull and friendly. The room was a good quality even is the price seems a litlle high for that kind of standard. But we were in Florence and close to the very center. The private parking put at your disposal (for 12 € per day) if places available is a plus. Think to mention it when booking.

Everything was fine in Holiday Inn Verona except for the fact that we were told on the day of our departure that breakfast was not included in the price, so we had to pay extra 180 Euros for the 4 days of breakfast for 4 persons. I think this information should have been indicated either on the website or told personally when checking in.

Very comfortable facilities that represent good value for money. However, the pre booking information should specify that the price does not include breakfast, which is extra. Also, as the hotel is 5 km from the centre of Verona (and the about same distance from the railway station), the additional cost of taxis is considerable. It would probabaly be more economical to stay in a more central but dearer hotel when this is factored in to consideration.

Good holiday in. Price good for sercive offered as Veron a is QUITE expensive. BUT it remains a Holiday INN Hotel (clean, spacious, etc, but not romantic etc.) For breakfast rather go to a small restaurant 5 min away; We just stayed overnight after an opera and for that it was perfect.

This hotel was acceptable wrt room quality and food. However, the location (about 4 miles from city centre) was VERY inconvenient with poor bus services that finished early and often did not turn up at all. Staff were not particularly friendly or helpful (in fact they gave us incorrect info for tours etc). Also food costs were quite high especially evening meals. Food quality was no more than OK. Unfortunately, there was no where else to eat around the hotel so you were left with city centre and the bus travel(!!) or taxi costs. Conclusion: OK but NOT the best hotel we have stayed in and we would not use this hotel again when travelling to Verona (to far out with poor transport)

Typical Holiday Inn. Certinly not a U.S. 4 star hotel but definitely better than a lot of what we stayed in. Having internet access in-hotel was a big plus. Restuarant was a bit pricey. Further from the city center than we thought but with a car it was no problem.

This hotel is very far from the city, you have to take a bus during 25 minutes to be in the center of Verona. Do not go in this hotel if you do not have a car. Moreover, the breakfast, which is not included, is very expensive. And I do not talk about the bad welcoming.

The hotel is locatad outside of the city, but easily accesible by the bus-system (except on evenings-there it might become an experience to even find a taxi cab, especially after visiting the arena). There was not much noise from outside, but when the people from next room were talking in the bathroom it seemed they were right in YOUR room. Linnen and towels were neat and it was clean, but not hygienical, overall not well maintaned The toilet water was running all night and the door was squeezing. this obviousely justifies the price ... but where are the four stars ???

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and were perfectly satisfied with the services offered. Booking through venere.com worked flawlessly and ensured that we saved a lot of money. The only drawback for tourists wishing to visit the historic centre of Verona is the hotel's location: it is located about 10-15 minutes by car from Verona's old city. Public transport is available, but does not run late at night (i.e., after the opera has finished), meaning that you have to rely on taxis.

The decoration in the rooms is old. I have never seen flowery wallpaper in a Holiday Inn! I would guess it was last decorated in the 70's! On arrival it was not clarified that we were parking our car in a place where we had to pay for overnight parking, thus adding additional expense. There are two Verona East Holiday Inns. This caused us much confusion, great stress and it was also very time consuming.
