The reason for the poor rating is that I ordered a room for 4 persons, paying the rate of almost 220 € twin double room at a 3-star hotel and got a double room with a sofa bed!! A rate a far cry from the most expensive room at the hotel and indeed a far cry from what I expected. Good thing that eventually just 3 persons used the room, but really the room was not up to standard. Furthermore, the toilet was in one tiny room without a basin to wash your hands (!); the walls were dirty. Nevertheless, the service in the reception was fine and the breakfast was also acceptable (though not included in the rate).

This hotel was too far away from pulic transit & the sites we wanted to experience. Since it was our first time in Paris we did not realize how the distance equates to vacation time lost. It was a more local feel (many things closed at odd times and hours)but we would have prefered to walk out of our hotel into the core of Paris. Also not many cafes nearby or even restraunts. Breakfast was NOT included in the Venere guests price and no breakfast options were nearby. wE WOULD not CHOOSE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

We came to the hotel, and there was no reservation for os. I gave them the reservation nr. 877955, but there was NO booking ??????? They found os a room for the weekend, and the Holiday Inn is checking in, to what the problem was, and we will not be using the veneer.com any more, or any off our friends. Regards Jack Jensen

How to reach Holiday Inn Paris Montparnasse Pasteur

By car
From the boulevard périphérique ringroad, get into the périphérique sud and exit at Porte de Versailles. Keep on rue de Vaugirard for 1,5 km; after the police station and the traffic lights, turn right onto rue Paul Barruel. Then take the third street on the left and get into rue Gager Gabillot.

By underground
The closest station is Vaugirard (line 12).

By train
From the Gare de Montparnasse train station, take underground line 12 direction Mairie d'Ivry and get off at Vaugirard.
From the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations, take underground line 4 direction Porte d'Orléans and step off at Montparnasse Bienvenue.

By airplane
From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, take RER line B until Denfert Rochereau and change to underground line 4 direction Porte de Clignancourt; get off at Montparnasse Bienvenue.
From Orly airport, take RER C until Antony, change to line B and get off at Denfert Rochereau. Then follow indications as above.
Taxi fee from Roissy is around €38,00 (60 minutes). Taxi fee from Orly is around €20,00 (20 minutes).
