Apart from the old bathroom style with no shampoo and plumbing problems the hotel is good and can provide a lot if you want to spend the time inside.

One of the better Holiday Inn's that we've stayed in. Top marks for all staff members who were friendly, knowledgable and helpful at all times. The hotel is located away from everything with the exception of the Justice Building. The complimentaly shuttle was helpful and drives would often go out of their way to accomodate passengers.

It is really hard to find the hotel without a GPS navigator (thank god I had it). Mainly a hotel for executives and businessmen. The floors from 18 to 22 have executive suits. However, when you are out of the hotel, you will be in a different world with garbages all around with complete disorder. But hey, this is what Napoli is, you cannot find a better hotel. Very good choice also for a family. There was a problem with room internet access and they fixed it immediately. Definitely will visit this hotel next time I will be in Napoli. Remember to park your car in the car park of the hotel (nowhere else, otherwise gets stolen).

The restaurant for dinner is OVER PRICES and TERRIBLE FOOD. Breakfast was good but the dinner on Sunday evening was awful. And due to the location (in a business district) no other restaurants were open. Terrible experience for a very fine hotel.

First of all, the location is too far away from the train station. It is not 1km at all.I think it is more than 2km if you walk. That's why the hotel provides the shuttle bus to train station. However,it is terrible because there are only 8 seats and people waited for it before 1 hour departure.I also waited for 40mins but I couldn't get a seat because there were already 8people before me(They were inside so I couldn't see them). If I knew before, I better not to wait. Another thing is that the room was so dirty. The dust was all over the room even I can see the dust on the table. In the toilet, there are hairs all over.. The shampoo and soap dispensers were empty as well. Therefore,I didn't enjoy my stay in here at all.

Although far from downtown, free hotel shuttle is very convenient for airport, railway station and city centre transfers. Location is too quiet in weekend (business centre).Hotel staff was very helpful and breakfast buffet excellent.

Everything you would expect from a Holiday Inn... the concierge was particularly helpful with our rental car return arrangements. The hotel is pretty convenient to the airport, which is why we stayed there. However, what I will always remember the most about our stay there was the outrageous cost of the buffet (the same buffet for lunch and dinner - 18.50 Euros for lunch and 30 Euros for dinner!!!), and the 5 Euro Coca-Colas. Ridiculous!

Need to post shuttle hours. Was also a very long 1 Km from the train station. Room was very nice, folks at the desk were extremely nice and helpful.

From a 4 stars hotel I would expect a better service. Besides, it's a Hioliday Inn: saw one, saw all

We booked this hotel based on the information on the Venere site which were incorrect - the gym facilities were not available during August; the shuttle service into town was too small to cater for the residents and not very frequent, thereby most residents unable to be able to be accommodated in the vehicle as it was always full, we therefore incurred a lot of additional expense of having to use taxis to and from town, as the hotel is very remotely situated with lack of adequate public transport direct into the centre of Naples. If this information was available, we would have chosen a hotel nearer the centre of Naples. We found that the surrounding area where the hotel is situated - everything was closed except for the McDonalds Fastfood Restaurant and there was an uneasy atmosphere of emptyness within the area. We found the taxis available within the complex where the hotel is situated were double charging for the same route as of the taxis bringing us back from the centre of Naples, i.e. Piazza Municipo.

Good hotel, poor location. Several expected facilities out of use due to Italy's 'national' holiday - we should have been advised. Everywhere around closed. Shuttle bus inadequate in terms of size, usability etc.THE DOOR LOCKS ARE A FIASCO!Ours were Ok but othermembers of the party had change cards every time they used locks - very dissapointing.Quality of food was good. Location to train services good (fortunately) and close to airport. Naples, apart from bay area is a dump - stay in Sorrento or Ischia. Watch out for dodgy taxi drivers!

Good price to quality hotel, surroundings are not very tourist oriented but the circunvesuviana station is a walking distance. Free shuttle to and from downtown is allways full (to small) for such a big hotel.

La qualità è quella Holiday Innn. L'hotel è forse un po' decentrato La prenotazione con Venere ha portato un risparmio di oltre il 20% rispetto a prenotazione telefonica o direttamente sul posto.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights - on our arrival to Naples and on our last night in Italy. The staff was extremely helpful. The shuttle service offered by the hotel is a big plus. They will pick you up at the airport and also drop you off in downtown Naples. All in all, the Holiday Inn was a good choice.

Excellent hotel. Disappointed leisure club closed for refurbishment - this was not mentioned in any corresondence over web or direct with hotel. Further from old Napoli than expected and shuttle only seats 8. Trouser press not working. Otherwise great.

The overall was a good visit with a few exception... the movies on the television were all in Italian (except the Matrix). If no movies are in English... the tv should have a subtitles in english (at least). The other thing was the spaciousness of the room - for two beds it was a great size room. But for three it was not (too crowded). Other than that everything else was great!!

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. For the price we paid, we were expecting a better hotel, room, cleaner bathroom. Expensive for what it was. Need to upgrade bathrooms!

A very good hotel, well located. Room very spacious with a lovely view of the bay. A good restaurant a bit expensive if you wanted to eat in each evening. Car parking a bit expensive. Only trouble was a left my dad's zimmer frame behind and had to get another one when I returned home. Overall we were well pleased with this hotel and if in Naples again we would probably stop there again.

a) it was embarrassing to be obliged to revalidate each day the access cards in the room; b) it was incorrect not to pay attention that swimming pool, gym and sauna were not available; c) considering the price of the room was too high; d) no decoration of the restaurant for San Sylvester party;

The location map on web pages must be shown in detail. This hotel is far from the railway station. The shuttle bus service is every one hour and the full number of the shuttle bus is almost only six. I could not get on the bus. So I called a taxi.

I THINK IT WAS VERY DIRTY THE CURTAINS, THE RUG OF THE FLOOR WAS ALL SPILLED WITH SOME DIRTY LIQUIDS. tHE HOTEL IS VERY FAR FROM THE CITY. tHEY HAVE A SHUTTLE, BUT THE SURROUNDINGS OF THE HOTEL ARE VERY LONELY AND THEY LOOK UNSECURES. wE THINK IT IS NOT A HOTEL TO HAVE 4 STARS AND TO COST 130 EUROS A NIGHT.

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted - one night's accomodation before departing for our main holiday destination (Ischia) tne next morning. Clean, spacious rooms, all the facilities you want, including a great breakfast. The hotel staff helpfully booked a taxi for us to meet us at the airport, as our plane was arriving late, which made for a stress free arrival in Naples. But the location is pretty far out of the main part of the city, and I wouldn't stay here unless it's just for a night or to or on business. Doesn't have much character, but then you'd expect that of such a big chain hotel.

Location as indicated on map was misleading in terms of proximity to city centre. The hotel is situated in a commercial centre and there is little to do in the area at night.

I was not very impressed with the service: the carpet was badly stained so looked dirty, towels from the previous guest were lying in the cupboard, but worst of all I had no breakfast. Tour groups arrived in the restaurant as soon as it opened and I just couldn`t get near the food. When the queue died down the food was all gone. I couldn`t wait for more to come as I had a flight to catch and another group had arrived. Simple management skills are lacking at the hotel.

The location was not the best, very isolated, no resturants nearby. The map and directions provided on the net were useless. The bath had a little mold/mildrew, but the tub was really big. The staff was helpful and the resturant in the hotel was good with excellent service. Nice piano bar. Overall a good stay for being close to the airport.

The Holiday Inn is what you would expect from a chain hotel - clean, comfortable, good buffet breakfast and perfectly acceptable for a short stay. Location is a bit off putting at first (3km from the city centre) however, we were not paying city centre rates! If you intend to use the transport service to/from airport and city centre, check times carefully, rather than expect a bus to be there when you want one. It is also 'first come first served' so backup transport might be necessary at busy times - apart from day 1 (airport-hotel) it worked well for us.

Excellent shuttle service, but access by public transport is good. Surrounding development is not very interesting and not enough close facilities i.e. bars, restaurants open at night. Food very good with excellent and reasonably priced wine list. Lacking in tourist information. could do with more leaflets, etc, although Naples generally doesn't provide much help to the Tourist despite the fact that the people themselves are very friendly and helpful.
