Stayed two nights as we were visiting Maranello & Galleria Ferrari. Location OK for that purpose with good car parking. However hotel reception staff were unfriendly & unhelpful & the worst experienced during a five week European tour. However, the hotel restaurant which operates under a seperate contract was excellent and staff friendly.

It was on of the worses hotels I have ever stayed. Staff was very incompetant and unfriendly. They did not have even a map of the city. The hotel was next to a 24hr petrol station which had better breakfast then them and when I asked if they knew a place to eat around their, they said there weren't any, forgetting about the place behind which at the time I did not know.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn because we were visiting the Ferrari Galleria at Maranello which is about 17kms away. We wanted somewhere close to the Galleria but not in Modena itself. This hotel is in an excellent location for this, if you have a car of course! There is an excellent restaurant nearby called Carisma (Via Emilia Ovest 765 Modena) that can be reached by driving through the village of Tre Olmi and towards Modena (about 10 minutes). I recommend anyone not familiar with the area to rent a GPS satellite navigation unit from your car rental agency.

Nice hotel, typical Holiday-Inn-standard. Nice rooms, good service, great breakfast. The hotel is far away from the centre of Modena, there is no bus station at the hotel. But the hotel is located directly at the highway, hotel is ideal for travellers who stop in Modena.

Exceptionally convenient to the highway, but inconvenient to the town center. Pleasant accommodation, great breakfast, excellent value, surprisingly nice view from our room. Needed air conditioning.

while i was in the room the employee resp of clean the rooms tried to enter in my room. the check out is for 12a.m. and it was only 10.30 a.m. this is not so nice...
