The hotel was okay. When i booked the hotel, it said that breakfast is not included but I when i got there i found out that it was included. Internet is very expensive. To be honest, I found it difficult to find internet points in Lugano. It is easy to get to the center of the city. You will have to take a bus which runs regularly. You can also take a bus to a train station. It is not far from the hotel.

Four star hotel in low season expensive and without any additional service (also breakfast was not included). The name of the Hotel was Holiday Inn Central, but the city center was 20 minutes far away by feet.

A hotel worth recommending to others for a short stay in Lugano. Convenient access by bus from rail station and city centre. Good spread for breakfast. We had a pet dog in a nearby room who created a bit of noise.

Pictures show lake view room, which does not exist. Breakfast was included in Venere reservation and website, but Hotel told that it is not included. Hotel staff was friendly to include breakfast after 30 minutes of time. Overall good location and fair pricing.

Copletely incompetent staff. Unfriendly, unhelpul, sleepy. Too many extras into the bill. Positive: Quality and service of breakfast. All facilities are run-down. Only one elevator working! Requires an immediate face-lift.

Nice staff, spaciuous room, good bathroom. The hotel is located near the main centre of the city. A nice place to stay in Lugano. Cheaper than other hotels in area. I recomend this hotel.
How to reach Holiday Inn Lugano Centre
By car
From the North or South: take the A9 motorway and exit at Lugano sud (south). Drive towards Lugano and the lake. At the first traffic light, turn right. After 100 metres/0.06 miles you will see the hotel Holiday Inn Lugano Centre.
By airplane
From Milano Malpensa airport, take the shuttle bus to the Lugano railway station. Then take bus line 2 and get off in via Geretta.
