This Holiday Inn was a very pleasant stop over in all respects. It allows a day visit, by bus, into Trieste without worrying about where to park your car. The rooms are typical of a nice americn Holiday Inn and the breakfast buffet is typical of a four star european presentation and service.

We were there in May and the temperature was a little warm. The hotel has AC, but it was not yet in use for the season, so we opened the windows for a cool breeze...and mosquitoes! We woke up at 2am and had to close the window and spent the next 30 minutes swatting mosquites. Other than this incident, the hotel is just another Holiday Inn

I had some problems in reserving a room with three beds through the internet, as only single and double bed rooms were quoted. Finally I had to call the hotel to ask for instructions on how to do.
