We went through difficulties to recognize the shuttle-bus cource, timetable and bus-stop. After that, we had a confortable stay at Fiumicino.

Excellent hotel for its location to the airport. The shuttle service was convenient, however, it was difficult to find once we came out of the terminal. The airport staff did not have any idea which shuttle was the correct one. After looking for about 30 minutes we found a posted sign that told us the HGI shuttle was back where we had just been. Advice for future travelers: Upon leaving Terminal 3 follow the pink sign for the shuttle bus. The shuttle seems to be operated by FCO and stops at all of the long term parking. Buses are yellow or blue or green and do not have anything identifying them as Hilton Garden Inn. We had an early flight Sunday morning and the shuttle began at 5:00 am so it was not an issue. The breakfast buffet was good for 10 euro but if you don't purchase it at check in, it's 18 euro.

merits the Hilton designation- impressive welcome (luggage handled quickly/ fast and courteous service/ modern hotel, tastefully decorated/ impressive and spacious rooms/ reasonbably priced restaurant on site/ free and frequent shuttle to airport where trains available to get into rome quickly and easily/ generous and tasty "boxed breakfast" for early departures before included breakfast starts at 6am)

We were surprised to find that the hotel was at the far side of the airport, close to the cargo area. The signage to the location was confusing. It is not located at the main terminal. The hotel was nice, but you are isolated. The shuttle service to the airport terminal was very disorganized due mainly to lack of English instructions. Some staff were not interested to ensure English assistance was provided. In addition, it was not convenient regarding car rental drop.

Like many other reviewers, we used this as a "last night" stay before flying home from Rome. We had stayed at the Airport Hilton previously and this was a much better hotel - facilities and staff. The free shuttle was 'fairly' easy to find at the airport, runs every 30 minutes and the driver was very welcoming. Morning shuttles back to the terminals can get very busy. After three weeks touring around Europe in B&B's and small hotels (by choice) it was a great relief to have a large room, elevators. climate control and big towels!! The location is not great (in the middle of "Cargo City") but that's not why we stayed there.

Finding the hotel was nearly impossible. There is no signage or any information available at the airport, the Hilton shuttle location has not been identified. The 1.3km distance stated on the website is a gross misrepresentation; it is a 15 minutes non-stop shuttle ride or 20 Euro cab ride. Also, there is no food service available after 10 p.m. On a positive note, the service and the breakfast were excellent.

This is a great hotel to stay at before you catch your flight in/out of Rome. The Rome airport is very confusing and this is a very "American" style hotel that has all the luxuries you could ask for. When we got to our room, the toilet button was broken, and they had it fixed within minutes, and the repairman spoke english!! Ice water, plenty of towels and pillows, and everything sparkling clean. Prego!

Typical airport location hotel. Waited almost an hour to check in due total confusion with desk staff. Nothing around hotel, so you have to eat at the dinner buffet for 15 euros. Better to have a pizza or burger at the bar. There are two Hiltons at the airport. One at the terminal and this one way out near cargo terminals which requires taking a shuttle to the main terminal.
