When we first arrived at this place, we thought it was in the middle of nowhere, however, it's only a 10-minute walk from the Valencia downtown area. Although we had a fifth floor room, our "empty" street had some late night visitors who were quite noisy.

We only stayed on night. We got in late and left early in the morning. I wish we would have stayed longer at this hotel though because it was very clean and exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is ok. the quality is not bad for this price. the family room with 2 additional beds is perfect for a family with 2 young children. The Breakfast for 10€/person is very expensive.

Very short walk to train station; tricky to find at first. Take first hard right on exiting station and go down dismal street right next to bullring then cross 6 lane avenue turn right and go to hotel's street. Map on site not quite accurate. Good local dining near hotel. Great and cheap food market easy to reach.

Hotel, staff, surroundings, and services combine to make this hotel popular with young and old alike. We have stayed here before and hope to do so again. We approve the new (to us), range of fare offered for breakfast, and enjoyed each daily start of our brief stay.

Fantastic stay at the petit palace, only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station (really!) and an easy walk to the downtown sector with all shops and landmarks. A nice neighborhood Close to many patisseries and restaurants in the immediate vicinity plus farmacias and supermarkets. Lastly a top notch staff. Augustin at the front desk was especially helpful. He sorted us out on any question and provided valuable information for Valencia and Spain in general.

We stayed in a triple room which was very clean but quite small. Fantastic for the price though. The bathroom was lovely, although the door didn't close properly and using the shower was like trying to fly the space shuttle!! The location is good, maybe a 5 min walk to the train station. The staff were very helpful and you can buy tickets to most attractions at reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if I went back to Valencia.

This was a great value for the money. CLEAN. The woman at the desk when we checked in was amazing, gave us maps, marked all three with where the hotel was, where the buses ran. A lot of good information. As all say, the shower was amazing. Room was smaller than I though it would be, especially for a triple, but was just fine. Toilet paper seemed a hot commodity here, you barely got a full roll, with a partial roll as a backup. With three women in the room, we did have to go down and ask for more. The location was a decent walk away from downtown. Good exercise, but if you are not a walker, I would choose a hotel closer to the central part of town. i would definitely stay here again. Free internet downstairs was nice. I thought breakfast was great, and if you chose to have it at least two days in a row, they lowered the price.

This was an exceedingly pleasant stay at the Petit Palace. The staff especially were welcoming, kind and helpful. The breakfast was nice. The room a suprisingly pleasant place especialy with the large balcony adjoining. It was an excellent choice and the comments of other guests were very helpful. I particularly liked having a computer in the room and the bed was comfortable and roomy.

Hotel was as described, although beds felt a bit hard. Having free internet in lobby was a big plus. Staff very friendly. Parking garage spaces are extremely tight....there is not enough space between cars in garage. Hotel not located near turistic spots except for the City of Arts and Sciences.Web pages of hotel are pretty accurate.

Only stayed here one night, but would love to stay longer. If you are looking for a unique hotel this is a wonderful option. We stayed in a family room. The beds were very comfortable. The glass door was a little intimidating, but we covered with a sheet, so it was okay. It was an easy walk to the city center, as well.

sorry for my poor english. We spent only 4 nights from the 22th till 26 december, with my husband and young son (7 years) we have family in valencia. It was the first time in your hotel. Welcome very pleasant, Room was fine, comfortable, with all commodities. Breakfast buffet wonderful. To find a hotel being accompanied with our small pet dog wasn't easy. You did it !Price/quality ratio excellent. We give your address to friends for America's cup. Perhaps it will be to late. We will come back. Let me know we had a nice hotel-restaurant Lmichelin, gaultmillau...)in a touristic french area a few years ago that we sold for health pb. We know about it ! Don't change anything. Hope to see you soon. Happy new year for all your staff. MH & Bernard LAFUENTE

This hotel was beautiful, but not as near to the main sites we wanted to see as we'd hoped based on maps. The immediate area does have some restaurants, groceries, and banks, but it took us a couple of days to figure out the quickest routes to places we were visiting. The staff were not always accurate with directions, sometimes giving us directions that seemed easier rather than more direct. Not a big problem, but frustrating in hindsight once we realized how much time we'd have saved! The weekday night clerk was very personable and friendly, always upbeat and helpful. The room was adequate in size for three people, but the beds were uncomfortably hard. The bathroom door does indeed have a see-through panel, but that is easily blocked, and should not be a deciding factor in your stay. The hotel does have free internet access, and a great breakfast (not included in the price of the room). They do not exhange money at the hotel, so plan ahead if your stay is on a weekend.

We had a wonderful time in Valencia. The hotel is modern, fancy, the laptop with free internet in the room was extremely useful while checking for local info about opening hours, events, tourist tours, etc. We did not mind, but some people might not like the transparent glass bathroom door (it depend with whom you share the room I guess). Charming employees, located in walking distance to the center, the bus going to the seaside stops next to the hotel - great, we can recommand.

We stayed here for a weekend visit to the city. It was well located on the map as well as from the bus stop from the airport. It was also reasonably located to the center of town. The size of the room left a lot to be desired as well as the soundproofing of the interior walls. It was very loud in the middle of both nights as people were returning to their rooms on our floor. We were well warned about the glass door to the bathroom by other reviewers. That situation really does detract from the experience at this "high tech" hotel. I also did not find the shower to be all that amazing, but my 12-yr. old did enjoy it. As far as we could tell the only real "high tech" aspect of this hotel was the free internet connection. We did not eat here as we asked and were advised upon check-in that it was not included in our room rate. There are certainly less expensive places to eat within 5-7 minutes walk. I would have been more pleased with our experience had we not paid more than 100 euros per night for this room. The one positive was that it was clean! I wouldn't personally stay here again because it didn't feel like good value to me, but with a better room rate it is an acceptable place to stay.

Albergo discretamente pulito, molto hi-tech, personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Location excellent walking distance to main attractions, not easy to find if driving. Room was clean and adequate for one night, not ideal for longer stay. No view from room whatsoever in fact curtains drawn when we arrived understandably so as they looked better than view, glass door to bathroom ok if couple not very private otherwise. Coffee/tea making facilites would be nice. Overall if you are just visiting Valencia for 1-2 nights and want a hotel close to all sights the hotel is great.

We had the best service from this hotel I think I have ever had. We had difficultly in parking our car in the car park cause it was to big. One of the hotel reception staff can with us in the car to try some other car park which we succefully found. THey were very friendly spoke perfect English. Told us what buses to catch to the waterfront and gave us maps. The hotelis not right in the centre but only a short walk 10 minuties to centro. The hotel room was very moderm and high tech. We had to be shown how to use the shower. I would throughly recommend this hotel.

These review comments do not apply to the Petit Palace because on arrival we were told that they were overbooked and we should go to the sister hotel, the Excelsior. THis seemed to happen to quite a few other people as well so I think the online availability is rather suspect. Why don't they just advertise the Excelsior online as well? Basically Excelsior was a good hotel, next door to Hotel Astoria so more centrally located than Petit P. Quite impressed with rooms, breakfast buffet was ok, but not inspired.

It's hard to believe, that this hotel is only rated with 3 stars. You got everything you need and more. The rooms are equipped with the latest technical stuff. We had highspeed internet access and a flatscreen tv. Of course there was a minibar too. But we fell in love with the shower. If you're once in you don't wanna come out again :-) But you'll have to try yourself. Also the employees were more than nice. Especially a guy called Joseph who was more than polite and helpful. Thanks for that again. The area is okay. Really close to the city, so you can reach everything by foot. And the breakfast buffet...superb! We really enjoyed our stay, and will definetely return. The only negative point is the bathroomdoor. You can't lock it and it is also possible to look through the glass. So you should only take a double room with a person you really like ;-) at least you're not an exhibtionist ;-)

Hotel situated a 5 - 10 minute walk from the centre. Rooms modern with lots of mirrors. Bathroom a good size, also very modern with a shower with a choice of shower heads and jets. Breakfast plentiful, but not enough tables to number of guests and can get busy, some people were having to wait a while for a table and there weren't enough staff available to clear the dirty tables quickly. We would go back and stay here again.

The hotel is clear and modern, but the rooms are very noisy because of the modern wood flooring. Sometimes it sounded like the neighours were actually in your room. The room seems rather small. The bathroom door was open glass, which did not give any privacy if you are sharing a room. The minibar snacks did not get replaced the next day. The breakfast coffee is from a machine which was a bit disappointing, but you can at least get very quick service! Apart from this, the service was good and the hotel overall was good value-for money.

Stay in hotel was very nice overall. Staff was friendly. It is easy to reach city center/ public transportation on foot. However, there was some initial difficulty in parking the car. On a short occasion when the hotel was completely full, there was heavy contention for the advertised internet access and service cleaning the rooms was somewhat slower.
