IF you arrive at Madrid at night, it's a better choice. You just need to wait at the hotel bus stop outside the airport. And of course clean room and kind staff like you want, and also it's close to metro.

Best bed in Europe...! Free wifi... and good service. TV had no English speaking channels. Very close to airport and very easy airport shuttle. 3eu for a coke a cola at their bar. Restaurant hours were limited. We will stay again.

The hotel is good for an overnight stay when en route: 10 min from the airport, clean, relatively comfortable. One has to be careful when booking a family room as there is nothing on the bunk bed's upper level that would protect from a smaller child falling down whilst sleeping.

This hotel is not as close to the airport as some, but is still very convenient via free shuttle. It is also within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) through a quiet residential neighborhood to the Alameda de Osuna stop of Metro line 5, which goes to the heart of Madrid. Free Internet on the laptop in the room is convenient. The hotel restaurant is quite good, though not cheap.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport. The shuttle the airport provides is very helpful. There is not much in the hotel's surrounding area. The only problem with this hotel is the noise from other rooms and hallway.

I liked the hotel but was disappointed that there was nothing around it. I was obligated to eat at the hotel which was expensive. Also because my flight was at 6:20 am, I could not take advantage of the shuttle. Also, one other item, I chose it because of the pool as I like to swim - but the pool was dirty and I did not feel comfortable swimming in it.

Accept for the mix up with the shuttle picking us up at the airport, this hotel is great for short stay. Not a lot of traveler services around however. We used as resting place during our 15 hour layover. As a middle aged couple that are pretty self sufficient, we were game to walk around in the predominately residental neighborhood in search of a meal when we found the hotel wasn't serving food yet. We happened upon a "stripmall" that had several food options. Web access in the room was a great perk. Shuttle service back to the airport was perfect.

Very disappointed, photos show large modern hotel, but not the case. The rooms are small, the bathroom was in need of much repair, back splash was falling off, bathroom sick leaked and the flooring was in bad shape. The hotel is near the airport and the shuttle was nice but not near Madrid's major sights. Good for near the airport but that's all.

We stayed single nights at the Aeropuerto High Tech on two separate occassions about three weeks aapart. Each time the hotel was chosen for its convenient location to the airport and for its shuttle bus service. Our returning for a second stay indicates our satisfaction with the facilities offered. Our rooms were not large but were nonetheless quite satisfactory and the bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom was not large but was clean and quite adequate. The shower was excellent once I worked out what was in fact a fairly simple system. The free in-room laptop computer was a useful touch. On night one we arrived after 10.00pm and we were still able to get a good coffee and a light snack. On night two we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast each morning was a well presented but standard buffet. My only complaint was that on the second morning the fried eggs and bacon, which I had so much enjoyed on morning one, were cold. The hotel was remote from the centre of Madrid but this did not matter to us as we had deliberately chosen a hotel simply for an overnight stay, close to the airport. For that purpose it was ideal.

Perfect and truly "high-tech" place to stay near to the airport. It's a bit complicated to find without a GPS but we would definitely stay here again. Rooms were clean, modern, and hotel provided early morning transport to the airport on time.

It is an OK hotel for a night or two. It is close enough to the airport not to stress about Madrid's legendary morning traffic jams and it has a laptop in every room. However it's a bit pricey as soon as you get extras (guarded parking @ EUR 17). Quiet but uninspiring sorroundings (high-rise flat blocks).

Excellent if you want o be close to the airport, which is why we stayed here. The restaurant was excellent. We didn't try to get into Madrid from here, so don't know how feasible it is. The layout of the room is interesting, it had bunk beds and 2 twins. love the lap top in the room with free internet access.

This hotel is very convenient for those who have an early flight at Barajas airport. The hotel has a good quality level, although it is a little bit overpriced. The surroundings are quite boring, except for the nearly off-the-track tourist visit of El Capricho Baroque park during daylight. If you don't want to venture into Madrid, the hotel restaurant offers you a more than decent cuisine. Otherwise I recommend you to take a short subway trip to Canillejas, where you will find quite a lot concentration of tapas bar typical from a Madrid suburb. The breakfast was also quite good, if you can afford it.

Was very conveniet, 5 min from the airport, for a late night arrival, early morning departure. Loved the room design and the computer in the room. Food was great in the restaurant, though it should open earlier for travellers, who are tired, want to eat and sleep.....

If you are leaving Madrid on an early flight I highly recommend this hotel. It has free shuttle service to the airport (but know which terminal you need to go to, the driver could not help us). Plus, there is a computer in the room with free internet access.

Not easy to find, specially if you are arriving at night. If you are looking for quiteness or want something close to the airport this is the perfect place. If you want to visit Madrid or need to be working there, forget it! find something closer

Free transfer to airport was excellent, I'd say this place is ideal if you need to stay overnight near to the airport.

The hotel did have airconditioning but refused to operate it because they had an airco policy of their own / the room was over 25 degrees Celsius though, the sun had been on the outside wall + window all day long / at checkin they promised to switch it on, but when we came back in the evening they told me about their 'policy' and stated that the receptionist should not have made that promise to us / this is ridiculous.

Las habitaciones son amplias, pero necesitan una remodelación, ya que el mobiliario está viejo. La puerta del armario tenía el borde suelto y no se podía abrir.

Hotel was fine and met our expectations. Breakfast was not included in price quoted in Venere. Hotel was close to Metro station. It was easy to get to and from city center. breakfast buffet was available for a fixed price 14 euros(good buffet).

The family room was very small. We had stayed in another High Tech hotel im Madrid which had the same set up, but the room was a bit larger. There was a strange smell in the room that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The positive aspects of this hotel is the proximity to the airport, as well as the shuttle service.

The general experience was great. The transportation from/to the airport is free and excellent (about 10 minutes from Barajas' T4, not 3 as it is said on the website). Rooms are clean and the customer service is really good. The hotel has a metro station nearby (about 5 minutes walk from the property) so you can go to Madrid downtown without any trouble. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I wanted to be close to the airport.

I am unsure what part was supposed to be "high tech" but overall the hotel served a purpose. The free internet access was great and kept the kids occupied whilst we relaxed in the bar. The room (suite!) was a little noisy with the wooden flooring and noisy bathroom door. I would use the hotel again as it is close to the airport.

This was a fabulous hotel. Great, modern rooms with high speed internet connection included. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The only downside was that the doors tended to slam shut very loudly. For an overnight stay near the airport, it is perfect. It even included a free shuttle.

During second visit, all "high tech" seem to work! And even the reception desk was friendly and efficient this time. So, it's always good to give a second chance. And the hotel shuttle service to/from the airport is very usefull...

The reason I didn't stay longer was that the bus and meto were not conveniently available from the hotel. I was visiting to learn more about the city and needed transportation for that purpose.

I printed out our confirmation from you and they had absolutely no record of our reservation and said they had extra rooms so we could stay there and they honored our price as on the print out I had made of your confirmation. So the hotel did well by us but you certainly did not.

I was brought to the hotel, following the shuttle bus from the airport by car. There was no other way to find it! After arrival at the hotel, it took 10 minutes (car double parked) before I could make someone open the garage door (there were no other guests to serve: two girls at the reception were "busy" at the telephone and did not even look at me.) The first thing I noticed in the room were black hairs on a bed plus a "high tech" shower, that did only work as a normal shower. The hotel looks great, but it's service could be much better. For the normal price of 130 Euro, I would never stay there again!

High Tech - NOT!!! Internet didn't work, power didn't stay on in room, didn't offer shuttle service at times they states, worst hotel I have ever been in. Many others hotels close to airport and would stay at them. Service at hotel was very poor.
