Pool area was smaller than the picture makes it look. It is actually tiny. Irish fellows took over the pool playing ball and being raucous. Had to call the front desk to ask for people to stop throwing a basket ball from the basketball court against the wall around 10:30 at night. It was just an okay hotel, but I only paid an okay price so I'm not too unhappy.

We had a real nice stay there for 3 days. The breakfast was okay but not a "highlight" of the day ... and you had to clean up your table ... don't know if this is usage in USA ... All in all - it was a nice stay in a good surrounding.

This hotel would need to be refreshed. Rooms are comfortable but old. First night we had a dirty room but the hotel proposed us another room for the second night and paid back 50% on night 1 which was fair. Value for money is OK -breakfast is OK - not really charming but if not dispappointing just middle

We stayed for 10 days on a family holiday. The suite we had was excellent for the two of us. It was spacious and had all that was required to make our stay very comfortable. Nice size kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and basic cooker etc. Living area and bedrooms were spacious, only down side was limited clothes storage (a minor quibble!)It made a very pleasent change to stay in accommodation that offered that bit more than a normal hotel room. The location was superb, parallel to International Drive, but close enough to all amenities in the attractions area. Would recommend to couples and families alike.

I spent five nights at the Hawthorn Suites with my husband, 3 year old son and 16 year old Niece. We obviously needed somewhere spacious and this was perfect, as well as being very clean, friendly and in a great position. Would definately go back!

By car From Orlando International Airport: take 528-West (Beeline-Toll Road) to Universal Blvd exit (Exit #2). Turn right onto Universal Blvd and continue northbound for approximately 2 miles/3.2 km to Sand Lake Road. Turn left onto Sand Lake Road and then right onto Canada Avenue.
