Quiet, clean, stylish hotel on a canal only 10 minute walk from main railroad station. 20 minute or less walk to most attractions. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet and nice bar. Could do with better lighting and more storage space in the room but we loved our stay

Great location on the Kaisergract (2nd canal ring) - walking distance from train station. Breakfast was great and a good value. Nespresso machine in room was unexpected and very nice. Our room was very small (they warned us), but on the last day, they had an open suite and gave us a free upgrade - VERY NICE! Very good restaurant around the corner (De Belhamel) and Anne Frank house 2 blocks away. would definitely recommend.

Stayed three nights at this lovely hotel. Good service, nice touch with the coffeemachine in the room. Spacious bathroom and soft, comfy beds. Breakfast at 10 euro was okay, but for the price we paid I'd say it should've been included. Location was great, and if it had not been for the bad weather, even more perfect as you can rent bicycles - must be the best way to get around town.

It was very important for us the elevator, to our surprise it wasn't working, just on the last day. They were very helpful carrying our luggage, but you should have noticed us about it. Also, the hotel was on reparations, and there was some noise going on. Otherwise it was very good, the staff, great area!

Perfect location - scenic (if your room is overlooking the canal), near Anne Frank House and other sites, great location if you like quaint neighborhood walking, outdoor markets, many restaurants and shops. Interior decoration a bit strange - very dark, purples, mirrors, kitschy decor, in my opinion does not fit with surroundings which are beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms are small which is common in A'dam. We rearranged furniture a bit which made it better for canal viewing and walking around in room. Furnishings and public areas need some refurbishing. They are currently adding some new rooms. Staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Based on the despriction and the reviews I read before reserving my stay, I had high expectations for this hotel. That said, I was still pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the hotel and its facilities, the super-friendly and helpul staff and the nice & cozy design and atmosphere. I don't take good service for granted, and this one's was perfect. There was this one day, in which we forgot the "do not disturb" sign on the door. When we came back to the room at the end of the day, naturally no one came in the room, but there was a bag waiting for us outside the room, with clean extra towels, soaps and toilet paper. Such a small gesture, with such a great meaning. All that, without stating the obvious - great location, great value-per-price ratio. I will recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Amsterdam and will definitely come back there myself. Thank you!

Sebastians offered many outstanding features, the most notable being the capable and enthusiastic service offered by the reception staff. The room was also excellent affording a delightful window seat overlooking the canal. The Nescafe machine was also a welcome touch. My early concern that the room might be small was quickly dispelled, it was of a good size and most comfortable. The breakfast room and menu choice was satisfactory but did not measure up the the quality of the room or reception service. The location of the hotel was excellent, being only a short distance from the Jordan area and the Central railway area. There also numerous dining choices in the near vicinity. My wife and I enjoyed superb meals at De Belhamel, Tasca Bellota, and Prego, all within easy walking distance of the hotel. Our stay in Amsterdam was greatly enhanced by the quality of Sebastians.

Excellent location, close to Central station and nine streets. Room had lovely canal view and staff were very attentive & welcoming. Decor may not be to your personal taste & bed was quite soft. I found the prices quite high generally in comparison to other EU places we stayed - but that was the case for most things in Amsterdam. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would stay again for the location which I enjoyed immensely.

The travel group - 3 single friends, in our 30's. We had a great stay. Priscilla from the front desk was awesome and helped us throughout our stay! She was able to point out a number of great places to eat/drink/visit/etc. She recommended a few dinner places off the "beaten path" which were exactly what we were looking for. The best concierge we've had! The room itself was great - well decorated, very comfortable - great beds & pillows! Thanks to everyone at the hotel for a great stay!
