Friendly staff with good service. Decent breakfast choice. Hotel in a good location, 5 mins from the centre of Torquay and 10 mins from the harbour. Room was adequate and with a good view, but was small and with occasional noise from the lobby and next door rooms. The latter is maybe expected in older hotels of this kind. Overall good value.

Very highly recommended hotel, would definately go back again. Food was superb as was the service. Room was a little small but we expected this.Ideal central location and excellent staff.

Good location about 10 minutes walk from shops, restaurants, harbour and beachfront. Clean accommodation and enjoyable breakfast each morning. No shelf space in bathroom and bedroom rather small for travelling with suitcases.

This was our first stay in Torquay so i took the recommendations from tripadvisor and booked Hotel Cimon and we were not disappointed. The hotel is excellent value for the price, the room was lovely as were the breakfasts and the staff very welcoming. The outside pool and terrace were also a great bonus. Only a five minute walk from the main street and beach it is also in a great location. a lovely place to stay for a quiet holiday!

How to reach Hotel Cimon
By car
Heading into Torquay from Newton Abbot on the Newton Road at Torre Station take the right filter down Avenue Road and then onto Kings Drive until you reach the seafront. Turn left and continue to the Belgrave Road junction. Stay in the left lane and go up Shedden Hill Road until you reach a set of traffic lights at the top of the hill. Turn left and Hotel Cimon is the second building on the left.
