The riad is right in the heart of the souks but is like an oasis in the desert. Luan who runs the place is great, really welcoming and helpful with everything. Our room was small and the bathroom becoming abit shabby but very clean with lovely hot shower inside an igloo!! Very good value for money.

We were in the heart of the spice souk in old Marrakesh. A unique travel experience that felt exciting. The challenge of finding 'our home' after a busy day exploring the city was eased by the helpfulness of the merchants along the way. Riad staff were great, and morning breakfast on the roof lovely. If you want a modern large hotel in the newer part of town, go elsewhere. If you want to feel like you are a travelor in Morroco go to the Riad Al Mamoune.

Wonderful experience staying at this 16th century mansion house. Patrice the owner and her family are very welcoming, and can assist with touring and outings. Make sure to arrange for a private dinner on the rooftop. Inexpensive and better than most upscale restaurants in the Medina.

The place is very well located, but would be impossible to find by yourself. Thankfully someone from the hotel will come and meet you and give you a impromptu tour of the medina which was great for initial orientation. The riad is very comfortable, rooms tastefully decorated and breakfast one of the best we had during our stay in Morocco. Despite its location in the medina it was very peaceful and quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only small negative was the owner who filled the small entrance with cigarette smoke, which wasn't that great to come back to.
