Located in a great area as only a 5 minute walk to the tube in one direction and Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park in the other. Good value for money in the heart of London.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. My visit was more oriented to the need to be close to Paddington Station and the ability to use the Tube & Transit system. The hotel rooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but that was expected. **** The only real surprise was that they did not take American Express when that was how the deposit was held through the travel service. Luckily, I had a VISA to pay for my stay. Good experience overall!

hotel was overbooked - got another hotel named brystol; was in same street, so it was not really a problem. Room was bit crowded but clean. Unfortunately it was a smoker-room, although we booked a non smoker-room. For all it was a quite good stay and for short trips i would recommend this hotel my best friends...

The lady at the reception desk was really bad organized and a little impolite. Except for that, everythig was fine

Mi avevate confermato la prenotazione e quando sono arrivato mi hanno detto che non avevano ricevuto alcuna comunicazione e che erano al completo. Per colpa vostra sono andato a dormire sotto un ponte. Non usate questo sito.

Nice place, excellent price/quality relationship (taking in mind you're in London!). I would come back if I travelled to London again.

the room was really tiny especially the bathroom, each time you take a shower, you cover it with water... be careful with the stairs, extremely small (no lift), so don't bring heavy lugages however, good location, very close to the train/tube stations some troubles to pay with my visa card, have some cash (just in case)

The smallest room on the top floor- a pain to take up luggage. The shower was a closet, but it was in the room. Less than average breakfast, and we were put in a building that was under construction. Ok for the super budget traveller, one night max.

Hotel is in a very good location, just 5min. walk away from Paddington Underground station, in a zone served by many buses and Underground Lines. Therefore it's very easy to reach every part of the town. The room was extremely quiet, but it was just a bit too small... however, it was good for two people like we were. The bathroom was clean but it was really small (about 1m x 1m).. but at least we had our facilities and shower in our room, and I know this is not very frequent in London. I recommend not to carry heavy luggages, since the hotel doesn't have a lift, and the stairs are narrow, especially the stairs that go to the third and fourth floor... However, the price was really good, and I believe that this hotel is a very good choice for a short stay in London.
