Friendly welcome, the owner speaks excellent french, quite helpful. No heating in the room so you'll have to ask the reception for a small one if you travel in winter.No hot water in the room, but a shared bathroom in the middle of the corridor.Room not isolated, so quite noisy if your neighbours are not careful about that !

Top location, near to two subway stations. Neighbourhood is lively and you can hear it in your room (but hey, you're in southern Europe!) Two bathrooms available down the hall (clean!) and a kitchen where you can make coffe and tea or heat up a meal. Do not expect hotel facilities, but a warm welcome and a bed to sleep in.

For the cost of the room, the Pérola dos Anjos is excellent value for money. Two converted flats spread over two floors, it is not in its first flush of youth and, depending on who you have in the room next door or above (if you are on the lower floor) it would be very noisy. However the room was spotlessly clean and the reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Not an especially nice part of Lisbon but very close to a Metro station and an easy walk to downtown.

I would not recommend this hostel, hotel B&B to anyone. The location was about 15-20 min walk to the city center. The area is a bit rough. The place itself was dirty and a bet creepy. For the same price we were able to find a place with free internet, spacious and clean rooms right in the city center. I would recommend Lisbon Poets Hostel instead.

Pleasant and young clientele, quiet and secure hotel, but no cleaning of our room during five days (even the bin!). Portuguese speciality? The bathroom was closed when we would like take a shower and no hot water in the room. Easy place, near subway and historic center.

This is doorm room for student in a not secure area for a tourist, it is extremely noisy street and other room, if you want to sleep, I couldn't, I don't recommend this place et all

very clean and friendly, central, obvioulsy old and in need of some repairs, but unbeatable considering the price of a room. very helpful and knowledgable landlord, who speaks about almost every language. i would come back.
