Our guesthouse offers accommodation and lodging in Komiza, a small village on the island of Vis, which is famous for its old fishing tradition and beautiful beaches. Komiza is very close the island Bisevo famous for its natural phenomenon the Blue Cave.

The untouched nature, warm climate, numerous sand and pebble beaches, excellent wines and rich fishing districts, make the island of Vis a paradise on Earth. There two little towns on the island: Vis in the north and Komiža in the south-west, famous for its fishing tradition, fish specialties and its wine VUGAVA. There is also a nearby island Biševo, famous for its unique natural beauty: the blue Cave. Its mild climate, the rich Mediterranean vegetation and the possibility of hare and pheasant hunting, make Vis attractive in winter as well as summer.

Rooms at Provita

suite We offer accommodation in 2 and 3 person studio apartments, and double and triple bedrooms bedroom ensuites. Studio apartments have a small fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Double and triple bedrooms have shower/toilet facilities in room, but the kitchen is common which is used only by the guests of the house. All of the rooms are with the sea view.
This common kitchen is also fully equipped and with the wonderful view on the sea.

How to reach Guest House Provita

By car
You can come to Split. Take advantage of newly built highways throughout Croatia connecting Split with the rest of land. Port on Vis is located in the main town also called Vis and is 10 km away from town of Komiza.

By train
There are frequent buses and trains connecting Split with the rest of land. Port on Vis is located in the main town also called Vis and is 10 km away from town of Komiza.

By airplane
Daily flights from almost all European countries to Split (centre of Croatian coast, Dalmatia). Don't forget checking low-cost GermanWings, WizAir, SkyEurope, ScandJet, EasyJet for and also Croatia airlines.


By public transportation
From Split to Vis there is a ferry-boat every day, and from Vis to Komiza there is a bus directly after the ferry-boat. From the bus station to our location is about 5-6 minutes by foot.

Transport Services Guest House Provita

Since we are located in the centre of the city we can not offer parking lot, but there is a parking place about 150 m away from the house. You can approach the house with the car to leave you luggage but it is not allowed to park in the center.
