The Riad itself is lovely, however the location leaves something to be desired. The Riad is located inside the Medina so a taxi can not drive up to the door, which was not obvious to me when I reserved this Riad. I had to walk through several dark alleys and narrow streets and I was quite uncomfortable as there were very many young men loitering around. In fact I was so uncomfortable that I hired a guide to take me around the Medina and did not venture outside once it got dark. However, if you want to stay in the Medina, the Riad is quite lovely, with a very helpful staff. The hammam is amazing and I highly recommend it.

second time in riad el ghalia,but the first in standard room. one of two rooms we reserved had very little bathroom.
