breakfast The breakfast buffet is a feast and is sure to satiate your appetite for the whole day. It is offered either at the grand twelve-seater dining table, or if you prefer, next to the rimflow pool on the open viewing deck.
Menu:
Enjoy a spread of fresh home-made breads, muffins, quiches, jams and yoghurts. We also offer a fresh fruit salad, local cheese platter and cold meats, breakfast cereals, fruit juices and hot beverages. The full English breakfast is offered together with the above and consists of bacon, eggs to order, sausages, tomato, and mushrooms. We will also individually prepare an omelette of your choice.

How to reach Guest House Summerplace

By car
From the airport take the via rapida towards Funchal. Continue along the highway past the Funchal off-ramps and on towards Ribeira Brava. Before encountering Ribeira Brava the highway splits - left lane to Sao Vicente and right lane to Ribeira Brava. Keep in the right lane and take the Ribeira Brava split, and continue along the off-ramp south. At the traffic circle take the 1st road right towards Ribeira Brava town centre. The road becomes a dual carriageway. At the 2nd traffic circle turn 1st right into the tunnel and follow the signboards to Ponta do Sol and Calheta. You will pass the marina at Lugar de Baixo, Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar, Arco da Calheta, and Calheta.

Always follow the signs towards Prazeres / Faja da Ovelha. Once past the Prazeres offramp continue along the via espresso through another two tunnels and at the traffic circle (which marks the end of the highway), turn 1st right. Approach a T-junction 50m ahead. Turn left and continue along this road for about 500m. It makes a sharp bend right, left and right again into a hairpin bend. At this hairpin bend slow down and before completing it make a sharp right into a country lane called Caminho 2a Lombada dos Cedros. Continue up the hill for 200m. The Summerplace guesthouse and parking is on the right-hand side.
