The location of O'Donoghue's is its most important feature, I think. It's just a minute's walk to St. Stephen's Green and 5-10 minutes to pedestrian shopping Grafton Street, Trinity College and the National Museum. The only caveat is that it's above a pub. If you're not an early sleeper, you're fine.

The people at O'Donohugh's were very friendly, and the facilities generally quite comfy. It would have been a very noisy place in the evening if I hadn't just stayed in the pub until closing time, since there was only a thin wooden floor between my bed and the pub's beer garden. Given that it was fine summer weather, the beer garden was very, very busy. On the other hand, it was handy to be able to just walk upstairs at closing time. Overall, I enjoyed my stay for the weekend, but was glad I'd already booked a quieter place for the work week.

Stile anglosassone della struttura e delle camere, per chi ama le guesthouse e nn i grandi hotel. Avevamo la stanza al terzo e ultimo piano(scale strette e ripide...tipiche!) e nn si sentiva il rumore del pub sottostante. Zona molto suggestiva,in centro. Di fronte c'è anche un comodo supermarket.

From Dublin International Airport: take the Aircoach from the airport and get off at Dawson Street. To get to the guest house, walk from the top of Dawson Street and turn left into the St Stephen's Green. At the bottom of this street, continue onto Merrion Row, where the guest house is located.
