Staff very nice and wellcoming. Room was not bad but heating didn't work. IT's hard in november without heating. Some french people in front of my room had the same problem. They don't give you any receipt for your stay. I insist for the receipt and the girl at reception write it with a pen. The romanian girl was really very nice, I think nthe problem are the owner

We stayed at Guest House Lyndon for 3 days. The room was nice, especially the beautiful wood night stands and armoire. It would be nice to get more than two tv stations! Breakfast was terrific, hardy, large, hot and made to order! The staff was helpful when asked, but not familiar with the surrounding area. One day we had no towels! But Dublin is Dublin, and for the price, it was a great place. Thank you!

A éviter.

would never stay there again, and will tell others coming on rugby tours exactly why location near Croke Park is not enough to overcome problems - like a hostel at hotel prices positives- 1) staff very polite (though seemed to be insufficient to carry out proper service & unauthorised to make decisions to rectify problems) 2) bed very comfortable 3) staff very friendly to young children staying there negatives -1) room not ready by 4pm and had to wait in cramped hallway while another customer was dealt with 2) bathroom smelled of cheap disinfectant (at least this meant it was clean though) 3)no access after 11pm at night without waiting for night porter to answer bell. 4) room not serviced if you took your key out with you 5) ran out of eggs on last morning - we nearly offered to go to the nearby spa shop to buy some - blamed snow at first then admitted that there were no deliveries due on Sunday anyway. Suggestions - need more staff- so that rooms can be ready at a reasonable time and those staff should be able to buy addittional supplies if they run out. Guests should be given keys to external door for access late at night.

Please further me a receipt for my night of Friday 6th February - this I require for insurance reasons. As you've ignored my requests so far I trust your concern for customer service is superficial. All the best

We stayed here two times - 3 nights in Dublin before visiting family and 2 nights afterwards. The first stay, our room was small and somewhat less nice - on street side so light from hotel sign caused our room to have bright orange night glow. Little things were broken - hook in bathroom, floor strip to bathroom loose and had to be replaced a few times. I think that the fact that the hotel is up for sale could explain that. Even then, it wasn't really a problem. Second time we had a larger room and it was much nicer - bathroom and room size. The breakfast was good though - very nice people who worked fast and were friendly. We were pleased by how close this was to everything but yet quiet and out of the mayhem. We would stay here again just because of the location and general niceness of everyone. It was better to save money on hotel and spend it instead on pubs!

My husband and I stayed at Lyndon for a couple of nights in end ofSep.It proved to be the friendliest places we stayed in during our trip across Europe. I don't think I've met nicer person at the reception than Sylvie that runs this place. Upon our arrival, she gave us all the advice we needed about Dublin, where to go, what to see, eat & drink. And she is so naturally friendly!!! Thanks Sylvie and keep in touch The guesthouse itself is very cosy. Rooms and facilities are well kept and very clean, in addition, we could use internet. Location wise, it is a 5 minute walk to the city centre and within a comfortable walking distance To Temple Bar. Lyndon is suitable for all kinds of travellers .

Passing through Dublin, a family of four. Room was nice but beds were old and uncomfortable. Not very good reception on TV. Shower got blocked so could not use and staff did not attend to problem. We managed to unblock in the end. Had to ask for discount..was not offered. Enjoyed breakfast and receptionist was pleasant

Me and my friends had a very plesant stay at Lyndon Guesthouse. We stayed in the familyroom at the topfloor and it was really nice. Compared to hostels we tried around the world this was excellent! Very clean, quiet, cosy and welcoming place at a good price.

The people of Lyndon has been very kind, Sylvia in particular. Thans Sylvia! The place is quite correct. The warm water very good. Maybe it is little far from Temple Bar but it is ok to have a 15th minutes walk to the centre. The breakfast (eggs, bacon, beans, saucises) every day is perhaps too much for an sportwoman like me! hahaha, but I enjoyed a lot! Big kiss
