Located in Dublin's south side, the Donnybrook Lodge Guest House offers superb Dublin Donnybrook guesthouse accommodation. Located on the Stillorgan Road, it is close to the University College Dublin campus and the HQ of RTÉ, the Irish state broadcaster.

We were asked to pay at the arrival for the whole stay. We booked twin rooms but were finally hosted in double rooms. The rooms did not seem fresh. The bathroom was really dirty. The toilet never stopped filling all night long. The breakfast was light; we needed to ask to have a standard breakfast with bacon and eggs (by default, they bring it to you) The internet access did not work for some obscure reasons (the cable was stolen, the woman said)

-The twin rooms were double rooms with a foldable bed in the corner. It was disappointing. -the TV remote control did not work well. -the toilets were noisy -there was almost no water from the shower -the noisy Stillorgan road is too close -we stayed for 2 nights; the rooms have not been done during the day (no new towels, no cleaning of the toilets, no sheets change) -low choice of cereals for the breakfast

We stayed at a very busy time - during the U2 concerts in Dublin, so the price was very high accordingly. The room was small and basic, but clean, though for the price I was surprised that the bathroom didn't even have soap! Friendly staff, and although our booking had been messed up they sorted it out. Nice breakfast.
