Quiet, well-maintained, good value, owner-managed guesthouse. Would definitely recommend it to others.

The breakfast is not the "irish one" but it is good (continental breakfast: eggs, yogurt, fruit..)

We are a young couple and have been satisfied by hotel amenities and cleanliness. Moreover it is located in a very central area of town, very close to most of the town's attractions. just one thing: breakfast could be better, but overall OK. would come back!

nice place for a reasonable price. Pay attention to the noise from the street, expecially on the first floor. Excellent location, just two steps to dublin heart. Excellent breakfast.

If you're looking for a warm welcome and a comfortable bed in the heart of Dublin but don't want to pay the earth then this is the place for you. It's location is ideal for exploring Dublin. The only downside is that you have to pay €6 for tea and coffee making facilities but it's a one off payment no matter the length of your stay. Overall though this was fantastic for the price!

Great staff, near city center
USA, Nov 2008
We got a twin room in the new section on the second floor with a window facing the alley of some large office building so around 8am we heard traffic and activity noise from the alley. This was not much of a bother because that was when we got up for breakfast. Being away from Lower Gardiner, it was quiet in the room at night.
USA, Aug 2008
Overall it was a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly, however no assistant w/ luggage was offered to two ladies who were booked on the very top floor. Which meant us dragging our cases up 4 full flights of stairs as there was no lift. Once there, the room was spacious & quiet. On our return stay at the end of the week, we were given a room on a lower floor, but sacrificed quiet. Neighbors were loud (drunk) and being streetside there was more noise. The room was smaller too. However, it was still fine for the price, breakfasts were quite good & I would return there. Internet access was available in the common room which was also a plus.

Nice guesthouse, helpful staff, excellent irish breakfast. Hotel surroundigs are not very nice, but the location is perfect to visit the city, within minutes walk to the shopping area, railway station, bus station, city centre (Trinity College, St. Stephen's Green, ...). Would definitely go back again.
